OK -- thoughts at halftime?

Better to read the thoughts here than to hear the hot air coming out of Bill Walton and company.

My thoughts:

Keep pushing the ball hard and press on defense. Full court speed all the way. Detroit is getting frustrated and in that frustration is the root of their failure in the first half.

Expand that frustration and push them over the edge.

Stay in control, the game is not over.

The lack of a true superstar on the Detroit roster is really showing. They whooped a disfunctional Laker team last year and I'm starting to think they got a little too much credit for that. Larry Brown is getting outcoached by Pop.

Exactly. They are overrated.

Passing game is exquisite for SA. Reminds of Argentina vs. USA in the Olympics.

Detroit won the war of the boards and got lots of 2nd chance points (11 offensive reb) but the Spurs have countered that by getting to the FT line for a +10 FTM diffential. 0 3-pt shots for Detroit.

Great game.
Go to the head.
Grab a samich.
Grab another brew.
Get ready for the second half.
