I looked at the Bose QC-15 and Sennheiser PXC 450 and I really liked build and fit of the 450, and the sound quality was slightly better than the Bose, but the Bose noise canceling was noticeably better than Sennheiser.

My number one concern was with noise canceling on flights. Both sets had more than adequate sound (I am no audiophile) but I settled on the Bose QC-15.

Like almost anyone who has made a recent purchase, I am satisfied with the choice. Perhaps if I had both sets I would eventually lean to one more than the other, but I would have probably been just as happy with the Sennheiser set as I am with the Bose.

I've been debating on this for over a year and finally made a decision a couple weeks ago.

They are very comfortable, feel like a custom fit to my head and the noise canceling is incredible especially for the low hum of the aircraft engine. I had them on a couple days ago at home listening to music and when I took them off I was startled to hear this noise coming from my house. Turns out my AC was on and I'd never noticed the low hum it makes.
