OK..So I have XBox Live, and I've been having issues with losing connection out of nowhere, and just for a minute or two, then it will come back on. Makes for a pain in the ass in a heated NCAA Football 2012 game. I have it connected straight from my router through an ethernet cable, or wireless..tried em both. New router, Time Warner Cable...any ideas as to what the hell I need to do to get this thing working right?

Not totally an expert, but a few basic questions. What's your internet speed (download and upload) and also how many devices are connected to the internet at one time.

I have a friend that has AT&T and anytime someone starts watching Netflix while he's online, he starts to lag and then drops out.

I have TWC although my internet connection is the fastest one available. I can watch a movie on Netflix, while downloading something and playing games and drop maybe 1 bar.

Now, the connection issue may not also be on your end. The problem could also be with the host of the game or the servers of that particular title. Now it seems to happen to frequently for it to be a host connection problem.

These are some basic questions that show help diagnose the problem.

One more thing, do an internet connection test through your dashboard.
