I really don't like Michael Johnson. He acted like a total douche on TUF..

He has talent and is tough but i remember on TUF he was always wearing his stupid hat side-ways and talking shit to everyone.. I thought Nam Pham beat him in the semis as well and should have been in the final against Brookins..

That's what I'm saying -- he talked a big game, has the uber-tough tats, and had a big time attitude. Got his ass hole smoked.

Worthless shit talking bitch.

I'm thinking of picking Demetrious Johnson , he has the speed and wrestling to stay with Cruz; should be a good fight.

----

Fabio Maldonado scratched from UFC on Versus 6 due to injury
An undisclosed injury has forced Fabio Maldonado (18-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC) out of next month's UFC on Versus 6 event and a light-heavyweight bout with Aaron Rosa (16-4 MMA, 0-1 UFC).

UFC officials today announced the news.

A replacement is being sought for the Oct. 1 bout.

UFC on Versus 6 takes place at Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. The evening's main card airs on Versus, though Maldonado vs. Rosa was slated for the preliminary card, which is expected to stream on Facebook.

Another fight week:

MAIN CARD (Versus)

Champ Dominick Cruz vs. Demetrious Johnson (for bantamweight title)
- I feel he has the speed and wrestling to stay with Cruz.

Pat Barry vs. Stefan Struve
- Tough fight but I'm a big Struve fan, needs to watch out for leg kicks from Barry.

Charlie Brenneman vs. Anthony Johnson
- Based on his last fight, it looks like AJ has decided to implement his wrestling again; based on some picture that was posted on twitter, he looks like he is in great shape.

Mac Danzig vs. Matt Wiman
- Not too familiar with either fight but I'll go with Danzig.

PRELIMINARY CARD

Yves Edwards vs. Rafaello Oliveira

Champ Dominick Cruz vs. Demetrious Johnson (for bantamweight title): Cruz keeps it on the feet, quickness won't matter. Elusiveness of Cruz on the feet will be the factor...

Pat Barry vs. Stefan Struve: Hopefully there will be no superman punches! lol

Charlie Brenneman vs. Anthony Johnson: Rumble

Mac Danzig vs. Matt Wiman: experience

PRELIMINARY CARD

Yves Edwards vs. Rafaello Oliveira

Rumble cuts down from like 220 to fight at WW.. His kidneys are gonna need a transplant at that rate..

Champ Dominick Cruz vs. Demetrious Johnson (for bantamweight title)
- Cruz is too big, too strong, and too fast for Johnson's awesome heart. Even with takedowns, Johnson won't stay on top long and if he does - all he'll be doing it being a carpet. His only option is to go straight for him, but I see Cruz winning the decision unless KOs Johnson with a knee. Should be exciting and fast-paced tho!
Pat Barry vs. Stefan Struve
- Going with the Dutchman because Barry isn't going to knock him out. Obviously, the strategy is to kick Struve's legs out and uppercut/hook him, but it's not gonna happen.
Charlie Brenneman vs. Anthony Johnson
- Johnson will finally rumble against a fellow wrestler- KO of the night prolly.
Mac Danzig vs. Matt Wiman
- I just don't think Mac will stop Wiman's sub attempts, looking for confirmation that the first Wiman win wasn't a fluke.

Cruz impresses me more with his TD defense than anything else; against both Faber and Johnson, both got a number of TD attempts (various methods because of their builds) and Cruz easily scrambled out of them.
