Beno Udrih:

With Tony Parker in foul trouble, Beno played virtually the entire fourth quarter. In the process, he hit a couple of shots and more importantly played some GREAT defense on reigning NBA Finals MVP Chauncey Billups.

Horry:

Probably won't be unsung with his statline tonight, but I want to single the guy out anyway...

12 points, 6 boards, 5 assists, 4 steals, 1 block.

Oh, and BTW he tied some guy named Michael Jordan for 42 all-time NBA Finals three pointers, a record that will no doubt be his before the end of this series.

Congrats Beno and Rob.

Robert Horry looks like a spring chicken. Damn we need to sign that guy for a couple more years.

Bruce Bowen does what he always does. And when you knock down some 3s, its all gravy.

Beno was rock solid tonight. Draining 3s, and running the offense. Love that guy's toughness.

Give some credit to Tony too. He played some good defense and was very important in jumping right on them in the 1st half.

Yeah I was thinking 10-11 minutes, but was too lazy to look it up. :lol

Beno played really, really well. It might even be his best game as a Spur. The Pistons got tough with him and he really showed what he was made of tonight.

Very true. Horry was everywhere tonight. When Robert and Manu are on the court at the same time, it's like having 2 extra players.

I love how he can get burned or make a stupid play but not let it get to him.

Very unrookie-like.

I think Beno's best game as a Spur was game 5 against Phoenix, but hey, this wasn't a horrible game either. I just wish he made that lay-up in the first half when he was untouched all the way to the rim.

Shit, Horry is an old man by NBA standards and it looks like he's got the athleticism and spring of a 20 year old. He's been known to disappear somewhat during the regular season, but in the playoffs he looks like he's in his prime.

He's been nothing short of superb throughout the playoffs.

Let's hope he decides to take that option.

Horry needs to come back next year for his 7th ring.

brodels he said on NBA TV
Says he wants to play two more years and then slip into scouting and maybe coaching. I think that bodes well for the Spurs retaining him. No better team for players to get into the scouting, coaching game post-playing days.

sounds liek the option to me or nba vet min?

Spurs should sign Horry for 3-4 more playoffs (and give guy a rest during reg season) :spin

He's had some good games before...a 25 pt game, a 10 assist game with no TO's...But the Pistons were trying to get physical with him and I saw him get hammered a couple of times with no call...it was just the way he handled it that impressed me.

I was pretty underwhelmed with Beno in the first 3 quarters, but he was awesome in the fourth.
