Making Eric Weddle the highest paid safety in NFL history. :lmao
$40 million for 5 years, with $19 million fully guaranteed.
Unathletic white boy who gets worked by the leagues better recievers and running backs.

Wish Rivers would have played out his contract and went to a real team.

And you'll be back to sucking their chodes full time after they win 6 straight in the middle of the season.

Judging by the lack of serious replies in this thread, I think that I should maybe stop making them!

This doesn't surprise me, AJ is extremely committed to keeping the Chargers slightly above average. he's shown in the past that he'll spend the big bucks to keep this team above .500 most of the time :wakeup

I was reminded of this:
AJ gave up 4 (four) picks in 2007 to get Weedle.

"Perhaps Smith feels he has some personal stake in Weddle because he traded four picks to snare him in the second round of the 2007 draft".......

vander do you want to retain Malkie Floyd? He's bailing, AJ too stupid to retain. If he could stay healthy he'd do 70 and 1200 no problem with a real coach.

luke warm on Floyd, he's just an average WR who can make some spectacular catches. he not a #1 WR, and we've probably seen the best he has to offer already

Not a big fan of VJ either, if he had good hands we'd have probably been in the SB couple years ago, plus he's an idiot.

IMO Chargers might as well just put all the MWC WR's out there: Naanee, Ajirotutu, and the new guy from SDSU, that'd be awesome :lol

edit: holy shit, just learned Chargers released Legedu, :depressed and that Floyd too is from the MWC, in that case we got to keep Floyd, and Trade VJ
