Agreed...granted, it was still as much as Brady, and the highest paid contract, but still less than they were offering. Definitely classy.

classy? LMAO give me a break!
yes the dude took $10M less than he could have received, but if you look at the details the first 3 years of his contract is going to cost the team more than the $100M contract would have. he will earn $69M in the first 3 years, then $21M in the final 2 years ... I guess the Colts are relying on years 4 and 5 of the contract to be their Super Bowl contending years.

I like how Manning signed a contract worth less in order for the colts to be players in FA. Um, who the fuck is left in FA. Most top free agents are gone already. This fucker could have really helped his team by deciding this a week earlier. Clots record this season = 7-9. Manning gets injured.

:lol OOH OOH Tommie Harris signed a 1 year deal.
Oh lord! Tommie Harris was once a good player. He has Swiss cheese knees who is probably already your best DT and it's no guarantee he makes it through camp with his deteriorating health. Your going to continue to get punched in the mouth via the run. Keeping the ball away from your precious manning. And when he finally gets back on offense someone is finally going to fuck you boys neck up for good. Face it, the clots run is over!

What does my team have to do with what I'm fucking telling you about yours? Straight up your DT situation is shit and your QB is old and busted. Blast away with that? The problem is you cant, cause I'm right. It doesn't matter if my team is the SB winning packers. I want you to address what I said, but you want me to give you some ammo and thus taking the focus away of this current topic. Which is, just to remind you that your bitch ass team is soft, full of holes defensively and your QB is one foot out the league. Lets see blast away.

What we've learned from this thread:

-Manning "old and busted" at 35 years old despite still breaking records, posting double digit wins and averaging 30 or more TDs per season
Keep going bro, you're doing great.

Manning is a great QB not denying that. But hes not the same, there's no denying that either. By the way 35 is not young for an NFL QB. He's also dealing with a neck issue that may or may not delay the start to his season. Thats old and busted. Not a tinhorn fan.

You want old and busted, look at Tim Duncan. Manning had SURGERY, which requires REHAB. You're a fucking idiot if you think him sitting out a week of camp is because of age. And you're quite obviously a fan of a team Manning has continually shit on else you wouldn't have such a boner about hating him so let's just go down the list.
Probably Spurstalk's first Jaguars fan.

Manning has shit on all teams one time or another. So yes that goes without saying, that I hate the clots and mostly cause manning has fucked my team up. However I'm loving the fact that Manning's run is coming to an end. By the way I only hate him because he's been so fucking great for so long. If he wasnt good I wouldnt give a shit. I give you props as you nailed it. Though I probably made it too easy for you to guess if you read my post in the thread about Gabbert.
I look forward to the first match up on Sunday, Nov. 13 to fuck the ponies up. I find it funny that you root for teams that have horses as mascots. You must love you some equestrian cock!

I don't think you realize the severity of suckness your team has reached when they let one of the worst players in the NFL return a kick compared to MJD returning a kick, one of the best players in the NFL.

Whats funny about that is that your rush defense was actually better than it is now. That's fucking hilarious. The clots are going to open wide for every 2 bit piece of shit RB in the league. Enjoy that trophy once peyton retires the chances of you ever winning another one will be slim and none. I'll be there to shit on you about it too. The Jaguars on the other hand are ascending.

The mere fact that we were competing for the Division last year with one of the worst defenses in the league should tell you something. The Jaguars plugged some holes on that defense and we should be even more competitive. Thats fine I know your sitting high and laughing at what im saying but if your a true fan and follow your own AFC South division than you should know whats up. I think your in denial. Get ready to fall hard this year. Your teams run is over.

Tbh the Jags had a good off season but I still don't get why they decided to draft Gabbert after the year Garrard had.
Garrard had a decent year. It was a career year for him. But the Jaguars had not invested in the QB position since drafting Byron Leftwich. They saw a top prospect in Gabbert and pulled the trigger. The Jaguars didn't want to get caught without a QB for the future. Besides Garrard is very inconsistent. He needs everything to be perfect for him to perform well.
He does not anticipate receivers routes. They have to be plain wide open for him to trust it and pass. He has to have perfect pass protection or he will hurry and scramble or check down to the RB. His nickname is captain checkdown for a reason. He will checkdown in 11x11 drills in training camp drills where there is no threat of getting hit. He's also not very sharp and doesn't progress through his 2nd and 3rd reads and will stare down his primary target. Having said all that, he will sometimes do just enough to get by and help the Jaguars win.
It is true that every year our ceiling was to compete for a WC. I'll give the guy that. But I have a feeling that the Jaguars are on the rise. How much will remain to be seen. At the same time I believe the Clots to be coming down. Peyton is still the heart and soul of the clots. But he is getting hit too late in his career. His protection is not what it used to be. And while he still has a very talented receiving core, injuries have hurt their offense immensely. Don't even get started on the defense. Honestly Peyton manning is the clots defense. the longer peyton is on the field the better their defense is.

This confirms to me that you don't know shit and are actually proud of that fact. It's so pathetic. I don't expect everyone to know something about the Jacksonville Jaguars. It is a small market team with only one real recognizable player in MJD. We haven't won a division since we were in the old AFC central division. I know I'm the minority here. But I dont give a fuck. I will continue to Rep the Jaguars and be proud of it.
Here I'm going to take the two things that you know about my team and put them out there so you dont continue to make your self look like the ignorant jack ass that you are:
The Jacksonville Jaguars are the subject of moving to the Los Angeles market. The main reasons: Perceived attendance issues. Everbank Field's capacity at its largest is 76,867. For comparison the new Meadowlands stadium capacity is 82,566. This made the blackout number for Everbank Field over 60000 + tickets sold just to lift the blackout. Therefore making the Jaguars an easy target in the media's eyes to talk about relocation due to ticket sale problems in Jacksonville. The truth is that the Jaguars had one bad year in 2009 when there were 7 blackouts and attendance was low. But other than that one year the Jaguars average attendance has been there with averages around the league. The Tarps were put there out of necessity to lower the blackout number compared to other markets around the league. If you have any brains at all you would understand that The Jaguars had a Stadium large enough to host as many ticket buyers as the Jets and Giants markets but reality was the market was more on par with a market such as Indianapolis for example.
Any way I probably made your brain explode with too much knowledge for one day. Fuck off.
them niggas is RELEVANT!

But none of you fuckers ever brought back any retort regarding actual football. I'm not sure your capable of it to be honest.
