tbh that just indicts Durant even further. this game proves he can still take over for his team despite the presence of a wildass streetballer.

I liked his Drew League dunk better:

He's just shooting jumpers with nobody guarding him in the clip above.

What a brilliant off season workout plan. Play against a bunch of Rucker Park gorillas so you can get out of position on defense but swipe at the ball and use your length to cause turnovers because you're guarding a shit ball handler. That's gonna make him a much better NBA defender.

idk y this guy has this humble, non narcissistic, wna be away from the spotlight image

if that was kobe people would be calling him out for chucking and not letting anybody else touch the ball during that clip

Finally, a basketball conversation.

You guys are too hard on people IMHO. Not every second is going to be spent on "improving your game" and sometimes it's cool just to ball out and have fun. Rucker is a place to just be a baller and put on a display, which he did. It's something people will talk about watching even if it doesn't mean anything.

But you gotta admit that the announcer was being a tard. Also, the title of the video "66 pts" as if it's a major accomplishment.

Also, this is an NBA forum, so if someone like, oh... Lebron were to do that and someone posted here like it was unreal, people would scoff.

Of course KD killed. He's a bad motherfucker, but come on.

Have you ever watched And 1? All the announcers are like that. I get it may not appeal to you but that was the environment they wanted and always is. Plenty of nba guys play in games like that and don't drop 66 points. It wasn't something to put on your official resume but it was a legendary street ball moment at a classic street ball place.

If he scored 66 against Dallas, I would have been impressed.

Dude, Rucker park is a legendary place to play ball. You guys act like if this is going to ruin his defense :lol whenever the season eventually starts. He got to run, the crowd got a show and those nobodies can now brag that played ball with KD.
I'd be impressed if Kobe, Lebron, Melo, Bonner (lol) or any other top level NBA talent did that. In fact they should do a tour and go to different cities the way and1 did and put a few NBA players here in with a group of guys that think they are badasses. It would be fun to watch what happens plus it would be a cool experience for the guys that get to play.

People love to be so hard on Westbrook, but Durant had every chance to take over those games and he wouldn't/couldn't do it.
Hes still young, he'll learn.
