Watching Today, and they're showing a guy who was buried 6 feet under alive, and was dug out alive. Matt kept interrupting the guy before he could finish answering his questions. And it's not like the guy was long winded...Matt just wouldn't fucking shut up. He does this shit all the time. Pisses me off. STFU and let the people fucking talk.

It's annoying when "journalists" do this. Most do. All it becomes is a one-up contest.

Yes, Dan, despite all I taught you, you couldn't keep your mouth closed during interviews - just one reason you were fired. And that's the way it is ...

You are nothing but dead air now. And that's the way it is...

I don't think I've ever seen a Matt Lauer interview so I can't comment about his style, but has anyone noticed the Today Show is like 8 hours long now? What the hell?? :wtf

I saw that interview, and granted, I was half awake, it wasn't any different than a regular interview he does. All the morning show people have a strict schedule they have to adhere to..and he was just trying to get everything he needed in the interview. The survivor was super nervous too. So, that might have contributed to it, too.
