Pretty good, although I'd put Kidd ahead of Harper. Harper might have a little more nostalgia factor, but Kidd accomplished more for the Mavs. I think Nash and Terry could be interchangable as well (even though Nash is definitely a better player, Terry has done a lot for the franchise as well, and been with the team a longer time now)

It wasn't a straight ranking, I was just listing them as I thought of them. I'd put Kidd ahead of Harper too, since he was an integral part of a championship team, but Harper had his best years in Dallas. The opposite is true of Kidd.

This (well, except for Rondo, of course)
Ainge was good, but there were better Celtics

I like Cowens, and he would be higher than Pierce in my Celtics list
He was an undersized centers and did very well and bigger talented centers
All hustle, toughness and he has a pretty good outside shot

true tbh I loved Dampier when he first got here since he was such a big difference from Dallas' previous centers but he slowly wore off his welcome as he didn't even look like he wanted to be on the court sometimes.

West (The first true franchise player for LAL)
Baylor (One of the most entertaining Lakers, deserved to ring)

Gasol (Was the guy the Lakers needed to take the scoring pressure off Kobe)
Mikan (Dominance that gave the first chip)

Right, the Lakers. Why would I brag about a team? I didn't contribute anything to them, except some ticket sales over the years. I like the team, them being local didn't influence my decision to like them. I like them for reasons such as Magic being my favorite player and the Laker-Celtic rivalry being my favorite rivalry in the NBA history.

Sorry for not being a bandwagon fan.

Spurs First Team vs Lakers First Team

If 50 years of gauranteed money and pussy were on the line which team would you pick. Let’s examine the line-ups:

SG - GEORGE GERVIN VS. KOBE BRYANT
PG - TONY PARKER VS. MAGIC JOHNSON
SF - BRUCE BOWEN VS. ELGIN BAYLOR
PF - TIM DUNCAN VS. WILT CHAMBERLAIN
C - DAVID ROBINSON VS. KAREEM ABDUL-JABBAR

While the Spurs first team would be great in an alternate universe they'd get skull fucked...The Lakers win every matchup on this first team decisively in my opinion. The Lakers TWIN TOWERS line-up on would eviscerate Timmy and Robbie ...:lol

Spurs Second Team: vs Lakers Second Team ( This Spur 2nd unit could cause the Laker all time 2nd unit some problems)
SG - MANU GINOBILI VS. GAIL GOODRICH
PG - ALVIN ROBERTSON VS. JERRY WEST
SF - MIKE MITCHELL VS. JAMES WORTHY
PF - LARRY KENON VS. PAU GASOL
C - BILLY PAULTZ VS. SHAQUILLE ONEAL

Jerry West and Pau Gasol on the same court is almost like a wet dream, and Shaq would just shit all over the Spur second unit.

These 1st and 2nd Laker units would work well against any team combinations imaginable and any extra Laker players outside of this could be anyone in the world because they would probably never see the court anyway. These Lakers units are sick with it’s Power, Speed and Versatility.

For the Suns, it's pretty easy to make a group of the 10 best players ever, but impossible to order them. One reason why they're ringless is their best players have always been 1.5 options and they've rarely had more than one 1.5 option on the same team.

Nash and Barkley are the top 2 since they're the two who have played at an MVP level with the Suns and showed flashes of being a franchise player.

After that tho there's a group consisting of Amare, Marion, KJ, Walter Davis, Paul Westphal, etc. that had several all star seasons in Phoenix but were never really considered franchise players.

Amare would have easily been on the same tier as Nash and Barkley and probably would have become the best Sun ever if Sarver gave him the contract he deserved.
