Danny Green to play with David Bertans in Slovenia !

It's official now. Danny will play for Union Olimpija, the same team of our 2nd round pick this year, Davis Bertans.

His contract has an opt out clause to return to the NBA.

Its Davis, not David. Great, Union Olimpija is my home team and I am happy to be able to see at least a little part of the Spurs live. :)

With Leonard and Butler on the roster, Green is a long shot at making the team but his non-guaranteed contract could be useful in a trade to match salaries. If he is doing well in Europe, I can see Spurs waiving him the day after the end of the lockout to allow him continuing his career in Europe.

Ohh and one more thing. The deal is not done still. The team spokesman said that there are a little things that must be determined until they could sign him. But they said the signing is very close.
