He picked up his first MVP trophy in shorts and a t-shirt. Any more questions?

Sweatpants and a sweatshirt...nothing wrong with that. It doesnt look like they are at a black tie event or anything

He looks clothed to me. So he doesn't spend ridiculous amounts of cash and stupid tacky suits like LeBron/Wade...so what. He looks like a normal dude, which I can respect.

I agree with this. I really don't give a shit what he wears.

But I think he does get a pass because he's a good guy and the way he plays the game. If Dwight Howard or LeBron showed up to pick up an MVP trophey in a t-shirt and jeans, they would be called out as "disprespecting the game".

About the only time I can think of seeing him in suit was draft night. An image search for "Tim Duncan suit" came up with this. Looks like he wore his pajamas to the White House.

in that pic, he looks fine... but the brutha has no style... caron butler said he was one of the worst dressed pros. how does a 6'11" guy find shirts that are 3 sizes too big?

The question I ask when I look at that picture is "how did George Bush get elected to run the country for 8 years?"

I look at it and wonder when the Spurs will get around to retiring Corey Alexander's jersey.

ftw^

But wouldn't it have been funny (in a lowbrow kind of way) if they had presented Bush with the number 69 jersey?

Historians will ponder that question as well, many years after we're dead.

Timme is tall but skinny fer his height so he'd have to get his stuff custom fitted and made and it appears he aint into that/just don't care, which I can respect. So he makes do with "off the rack" stuff that fits him length wise but defo doesn't fit so good width/girth wise

But I can guarantee Timme aint gonna be no broke ass NBA retiree unlike the vast majority of the peacocks he's playin' ball with ;) Aint nothin' like being comfortable in yer own "skin"

Who gives a f**k what others think,with that roll I DEFINITELY wouldn't

It's started.:lol The tear down has begun. You would have never seen this posted in this manner up here two years ago. "You love them when they can produce, you shit on them when they can't." To make matters worse, you post him side by side of a dapper Kobe... Spurs public enemy number one.

Spurs superstar Tim Duncan is known to be understated and shy, but not about the NBA's new dress code.

Duncan, according to a report in The San Antonio Express-News, joined the Indiana Pacers' Stephen Jackson with not-so-kind words for commissioner David Stern's dress-up policy.

"I think it's a load of crap," Duncan said. "I understand what they're trying to do with the hats and do-rags and jerseys and stuff. That's fine. But I don't understand why they would take it to this level. I think it's basically retarded. I don't like the direction they're going, but who am I?"
