I saw some tape from his preseason performance and he looked really sharp.
I'm still fucking pissed the goddamn Niners passed up on him, as he would be starting(and a zillion times better than the worthless bums suiting up now)
Imo, he'll have a nice career, especially getting to learn under Brady.
Has to keep his nose clean, though :lol

I'll even go so far as to say he'll end up being the best QB in last years draft

Especially since he'll have 3-4 years to learn. He won't be rushed onto the field and have his confidence destroyed after 4 games.

Btw mono do you still think Solder was a bad pick? Everything I've heard about him has been good. Great work ethic, great physical tools, just not a whole lot of experience and very raw and needs 1-2 years to develop, which he'll have.

every teams forum that passed on this guy is going nuts, as is the Niners
I was saying it about him before the draft, that after Luck he was the next best guy.
Once again, the Patriots FO does the right thing.

At the time, with no pass rush whatsoever, it looked like a terrible pick. I don't know that anybody thought the Patriots could get a strong pass rush through veteran pickups, which is why it looked so bad at the time.
Of course Belichick probably knew all along he could steal Haynesworth from Washington :lol so in hindsight picking Solder was pretty smart.

Keep thinking that, Mav Fan. We could have given you picks to take him off our hands, and it would have been advantage Washington. Mav Fan.

I loved reading the reports that Albert Haynesworth was gonna get cut before the season (for no justifiable reason), JUST like the rumors Moss was getting cut before the 2007 season.

lol Jets leaking bullshit info so that Belichick has to answer retarded questions every day. Pretty funny tbh.

6'6, rocket arm (best in draft), actually took that handoff from center the pros like unlike Gabbert and Newton, produced at a high level in college (unlike Gabbert and Locker who put up Ken O'Brien type numbers last year), and played in a pro style offense. He can't run but neither could run Marino or a ton of other elite qbs. Dude will be a fucking stud.
He has zero pressure on him right now too. He'll be ridding the bench so if he does have some mental issues, you're less likely to have to worry about the too much/too soon problem. I laughed when I read this stupid article in that godawful ESPN the Magazine this year where they said he was maybe too tall to play quarterback because there is some imaginary cutoff of 6'5 or so the scouts believe in. He is like a half inch taller than Manning.
:hat....."ridding" notwithstanding
