S.E.C. Files Were Illegally Destroyed, Lawyer Says (http://www.nytimes.com/2011/08/18/business/sec-illegally-destroyed-documents-whistle-blower-alleges.html)

The destroyed files comprise records of at least 9,000 preliminary inquiries into matters involving notorious individuals like Bernard L. Madoff, as well as several major Wall Street firms that later were the subject of scrutiny after the 2008 financial crisis, including Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, Citigroup and Bank of America.

Nothing to see here, move along people. The less you think about it, the less you'll be worried about. Besides, it's not like the money that was hemorraged by the markets are within your grasp anyway, it's huge amounts of money and assorted transactions that you have no idea what to do with. Keep paying your mortgages, credit cards, and various loans as usual, what our banks and regulatory bodies do wrong is not your concern.

Heaven forbid that you make mistakes or miss a payment or need financial relief - don't think you're paperwork will get lost so conveniently.

SEC just protecting its Wall St owners, and getting ready to pass through swingin door.

Also in NY: 90%+ of foreclosures are illegal due to missing/botched paperwork.

iow, the capitalists are stealing real property, aka, looting.
