Oh man, that is sweet. The Run TMC Warriors, 02 Kings, 93 Hornets, 96 Sonics, and 71 Bucks should be awesome to play with. Too bad there's no 93 Suns though.:(

Definitely cool to see young Tim and Dave in the game and hopefully they will be playable, but sucks that they are playing the villain against Karl Malone of all people.

The fact that Karl Malone is listed as a "legend" and Tim isn't is bad enough, considering Tim is actually in the game. But I guess they're still playing off the whole correlation with Jordan, and Tim never really had one.

Still would love to see 2003 vs the Lakers or Nets, or 2005 vs the Pistons. But that's just the homer glasses talking. :hat

All the legends are retired players in this game. Tim is an active player therefore he isn't considered a legend.

If Tim had his own classic team then guys like Kobe would have to have one as well - not that I wouldn't mind that though.

I hope there are more fouls called on drives to the basket in this game (you can literally be held and the game won't pick up the foul), and hopefully guys like Dwight Howard can't be pushed out of bounds when guys like Steve Nash drive by them.

Should have made that switch when the original NBA2K came out, tbh.

Shaq is "retired" so they should inculde him even though at times he was a lazy POS ...he owns Malone in every regard except FT's fitness level and muscle tone ...

Ewing over Robinson is similarly bad, but I guess you gotta throw New York a bone. I can't believe they picked the shitty Nuggets as the Rockets' rival instead of the Suns, Spurs, Jazz, or Sonics.

Great point. And shaq is in for the Magic even though not honored as a legend which since he just retired, I guess makes sense.

But if the aim was to get the best rivalry type games ... These are the teams I would love to be able to see battle.

1999 (or 2003) Spurs vs. 2000-2002 Lakers: underrated, respected fierce rivalry featuring one of the all-time best defenses against one of the NBA's best 1-2 punches ...

1986 Celts vs 1985 Lakers a true crime that those teams did not meet in 1986 and by 1987 The Lakers were clearly a better team.

Babyboy Pistons (1989) in their prime against the 72 win Bulls team ... by the time MJ beat them the Pistons were "done" would love to see them when MJ was not as athletic but smarter try to solve the "jordan rules" ...

Drexler/Dream Rockets vs. 2005 Spurs:

Manu vs. Drexler
Duncan vs. Dream
Parker vs. Cassell
Young Horry vs. Vet Horry
Bowen vs. elie

First Bulls 3 peat team against 3peat Lakers,

2008 Celts vs. 2004 Pistons vs. 1983 Sixers 3 of the best "one and done squads" I have ever seen. (mavs would be a consideration here as well but they just won and whole team should be in the game)

Knicks vs. Bulls
Knicks vs. Pacers

Reggie going HAM at MSG, and recreating Starks dunk would be sick his dunk NEEDS to be in this game!!!

Keeping in the same years, some other matchups I'd have really liked to see in the game:

1967 Sixers/Royals
1984 Celtics/Lakers
1988 Lakers/Pistons
1990 Blazers/Spurs
1993 Bulls/Suns
1994 Knicks/Pacers
1995 Rockets/Spurs
1998 Bulls/Pacers
2000 Lakers/Blazers
2002 Lakers/Kings
2003 Mavericks/Kings

Lakers Blazers was epic ... that team (portalnd) wasted sooo much talent. Steve Smith was wasted on that team class and skill-wise. Mavs Kings woudl of been nice too and like we both said ROX spurs would be filthy too ...

Del Negro looks straight out of American Me. The numbers look wrong too. They should have light gray trim and none of the black (the black outline was added in 02-03).
