Any reviews? I received a $50 certificate to this place but I have to spend at least $100 to be able to use it. Never been there but I figured it must not be cheap if I have to spend $100 just to get the discount.

Have you seen it? Does it look cheap to you? lol 50$ will probably cover your appetizer,... probably.

No, I've never been there. Damn. Too bad I didn't win the Chili's gift card.

I went for lunch a couple of months ago. I had the shrimp fettuccine with a drink. All together with tip I probably spent about 18 bucks. The food was ok, i didn't hate it. The bar looks really swank and looks like a nice place to grab a cocktail with a lady friend for a start of the evening. Other than that the restaurant is out of place. for this area.

Well, urbanspoonful has a 74% approval and $15-25 an entree. Checked their website. Not bad.

Yeah, it might have been a good spot in the 80s or even early 90s (when it was Maggies), but not today.

I can't see this place making it for long.

So i guess we can kill this thread then? Should we try to keep it alive?

I agree with you. When it was maggie moos and it closed down it never ever made it after that. At one point someone invested in this same building and was half way through remodeling as a latin night club called Latina or something like that. Midway they destroyed the construction on the night club and then began building the Barbaresco restaurant.

When I went to lunch, there were maybe two other tables eating lunch in the whole place. I would like to see what it looks like at night though.

Well their facebook page has some nice pics and it looks swanky. A nice place to take the wife but we'll have to order the expensive dishes to get to $100.

I remember. That was a weird deal.

Well don't perpetuate the fucking stereotype and show up with a cowboys hat or shirt with blue jean shorts. You don't have to wear that shit everywhere you go and plus no one gives a shit.

I'll stick with the ihop buy one get one free coupon.

A place that takes coupons probably doesn't have a dress code.

It is a certificate and not a coupon.
Yeah, I've used those coupons at IHOP before.
Right now we've been using a buy one get one free at Hearthstone bakery. We both eat good lunches for under $10 total.
