BR is a fine young man...and should be awarded with an honorary Laker medallion. He gave us 33 & 22 this is no small feat. Laker fan has been feeding off the old staple:
Kobe 5
Tired old shitbag 4
or the Skunker 8
and those will remain our staples from Cully but this 33 & 22 is absolutely Outstanding Work...we owe this young man a mountain of gratitude despite his occasional off kilter Kobe comments.
Thanks BR :toast you're an honorary nephew

son its all about dropping truth bombs. sometimes the facts hurt especially considering that many on here have idolized Duncan since they were young, but they have never really educated themselves on the facts. when you look up Duncan's stats they are absolutely nothing special. he is definitely nowhere near the top when it comes to big men. not even top 10.

Ive always said Jim was exremely overrated, even going back to his college days when he stayed four years at Wake, failing to deliver a title. The nigga was just consistantly average, thats all.
If Duncan's statistical career is an example of being average, then what is Bryant's, considering Duncan's stats are superior?
"There really isn’t any diplomatic way to this: Tim Duncan’s playoff performances essentially run circles over Kobe Bryant’s."
"Not only has Tim Duncan been better than Kobe Bryant during his entire career, one can only wonder: were we wrong in selecting Kobe Bryant as the player of the decade? It would sure seem as such."

"But as of right now, one has to realize that there is a reason that TNT, ESPN, and The Sporting News named Kobe as the player of the 2000s.
As impressive as Tim Duncan’s career has been so far, Kobe Bryant has already eclipsed him."

"Indeed, the Big Fundamental has five postseason performances that surpass Kobe Bryant’s best playoff run (2001-02, 2005-06, 2002-03, 2006-07, 2008-09) and also several other notable playoff performances. It’s not by accident that fans and people in the media shower Duncan with praise and peg him as the best power forward of all time; he has had an exceptional career."
Lol. Five performances that surpass Bryant's best.

If you want to "lol" sources:
My source: True Hoop affiliate.
Your source: Bleacher Report :lmao
Koolaids_Man could get an article published there.
And I would like to dispute the Bleacher Report article, but like most content on their site, they don't offer any facts to dispute, just opinion.

Prove it.
Does Kobe have better playoff stats? No
Does he have the better Finals performances? No (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/2011/columns/story?columnist=hollinger_john&page=FinalsPerformances-1)
Does he have more individual hardware? No
B-B-But I know, he scored 81 points!

The burden of proof is on the person arguing for the player who DIDN'T win it.

Then consider Duncan's statistical domination of Kobe my proof.
Better overall stats? Check.
More individual hardware? Check.
Better Finals performances? Check.
I know, Kobe has 5 rings and scored 81 points!
