Some of these guys are going to see serious minutes this season, for better or worse. Combined preseason stats for all of the drafted rookie QBs:

(8) Jake Locker (Titans): 32/49, 316 yds, 2 TDS, 1 INT. 8 car, 64 yds, 1 TD.

(10) Blaine Gabbert (Jaguars): 35/70, 365 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT. 6 car, 42 yds.

(12) Christian Ponder (Vikings): 27/49, 290 yds, 1 TD. 13 car, 83 yds.

2nd Round

(35) Andy Dalton (Bengals): 36/60, 328 yds, 1 TD, 3 INTS. 5 car, -2 yds, 1 FUM.
(36) Colin Kaepernick (49ers): 24/50, 257 yds, 5 INTS. 9 car, 67 yds.

3rd Round

(74) Ryan Mallett (Patriots): 36/63, 357 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT. 5 car, 2 yds.

5th Round

(135) Ricky Stanzi (Chiefs): 18/34, 213 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT. 4 car, 10 yds.

(152) T.J. Yates (Texans): 13/26, 181 yds, 1 INT. 4 car, 1 yd, 1 FUM.

(160) Nathan Enderle (Bears): 13/23, 177 yds, INT. 3 car, -3 yds.

6th Round

(180) Tyrod Taylor (Ravens): 37/60, 408 yds, 1 TD, 3 INTS. 11 car, 106 yds, 1 TD.

7th Round

(208) Greg McElroy (Jets): 36/59, 335 yds, 2 TDS. 7 car, 31 yds, 1 FUM.

Supplemental

Terrelle Pryor (Raiders): TBD...supposed to get good minutes tomorrow.

Not a whole lot of difference throughout, tbh. Yates, Enderle, Kaepernick, Stanzi, and Dalton will be the first ones out of the league, imo. It's hard to see Blaine Gabbert succeeding as well, but his #'s were halfway decent for a rookie in preseason, so who knows. Taylor and Pryor will probably be hybrid wildcat backs, something in the Brad Smith mold. Not sure what to think of Cam Newton, although his efficiency is terrible thus far. Locker, Ponder, and Mallett will be starting quality QBs someday...maybe McElroy as well.

I like how Jake Locker plays and I think he will take over the starting QB job in as early as week 3 specially since Chris Johnson already signed his extension.
