Not to be mean but does anyone remember in 92-93 when Lloyd missed a game, and lucas (Being the dumbass former drug user) tells Jay Howard before the game that Lloyd was out because of some bad roids. I nearly crashed my car when I heard that, after that I used to call him Lloyd the roid.

RIP - Pop for overstepping his power and getting Bob Hill and Kevin O'Keefe fired.

Funny -- Pop acted in the Hill situation because his players told him to. Oh yeah, and he happened to be Bob Hill's boss. If he was in position to HIRE Bob Hill, he sure was in position to FIRE Bob Hill.

By the way, I've noticed the great success that Hill and O'Keeffe have had as a coach and sportswriter, respectively, since leaving San Antonio. Either Pop was dead on right about both of those guys, or he has some immense power to deter any and all prospective employers from ever giving those guys another gig. I'd tend to stick with the latter.
