Nope. I prefer playing to watching anyway and I've been doing plenty of that, so I am satisfied. Plus, football is back, Alabama is coming to town this Saturday to steamroll our pathetic Big Ten asses, and the Eagles open up their Super Bowl season the following Sunday.

:lol

There's 3 teams better than them in their conference alone.

I wasn't really being serious, I'm not the type to proclaim my team champs before or even 75% through a season. But obviously I'm hoping for a long-waited SB.

And there are not 3 better teams in the NFC. Which 3 teams are better.

Packers
Falcons
Saints

They all vastly improved in the offseason as well, and their O-lines aren't one massive turnstile like Philly's is.

Head on to the NBA forum, you won't miss basketball.

I miss it a bit, but it's been Aussie Rules season since, so not as much I expected. I'll really start to miss it in October though, and if the lock-out drags on I'll truly miss it by Christmas.

Come October it's gonna blow chunks, tbh

College football is saving me. Once the regular season is supposed to start then it will sink in more.

lol baseball. People at my work try to talk to me about the Rangers and I just smile and nod. I guess their doing pretty good this year.

I miss all the summer stuff surrounding basketball...but it's allowed me to spend more time following football which has been nice. With college starting last week, pro starting this week and my nephew starting at WR for the #10 3A HS football team in the state, basketball is pretty far at the back of my mind right now.

After the Spurs were embarrassed in the first round, I've barely even thought about basketball. I watched parts of the finals and was happy to see Lebron fail again but other than that, I've barely cared at all. Even with the prospect of no '11-'12 season, I haven't given it much consideration.

Hockey is much less boring than baseball TBH

There is action, games don't last 10 hours, and they have REAL athletes

I don't think the Falcons are better, and we'll see what the result is in week 2.

Yes, but the lockout hasn't really affected that one bit yet, aside from a lack of free-agent movement.

I miss The Princess coming down onto the floor of the NBA Forum and gracing us with her beauty & sass. She'd always lay down the law, read a riot act, then turn on her small feet with a curt "thank you." and walk away. I'd about die every single time.

I won't miss the NBA until at least January. Even if they start on time, if training camp is impacted, it will be more unwatchable than usual before then.

For me and me the NBA is dead.
RIP.
I'll always remember the Spurs as the best basketball team in the history.

I fully agree! GOOD POST!

I love NFL and college though, that will hold me down for now. I will miss BBALL though around springtime no doubt if there is none, shit would suck.

I usually don't really care about the NBA until April anyway........usually when the players do.
