nothing indicated here that would be deemed as the least be legally binding or indicative of a long term agreement. it is a very carefully worded press release.

F*ck the Baylor Carebears!! You are actually proud of your passive aggressive admin? You guys stand idly by as SMU, TCU, Houston and Rice are tossed to the curb (because you have the Governor at the time), and now you piss in everyone's cereal because you did not get an invite to the party. Where was your "Texas loyalty" then? Dude, your school is that creepy girlfriend that gets pregnant when her boyfriend breaks up with her. Try winning more conference games in a decade than you can count on 2 hands and maybe you DESERVE to be in a BCS confernce. Go to the WAC where you belong...until then go crawl back under that rock of yours.

Posted on an LSU board. Nailed it.

Of course Baylor is trying to do what they can to stay in an AQ conference or at least fuck things up for a little while longer.

"As the weekend concluded and we entered into Monday, however, the TV networks stepped up and indicated they would invest significantly in the 10 remaining members of the Big 12. And the Big 12 made a significant financial commitment to keep Texas A&M, Oklahoma and Texas in the conference. At the end of the day, we kept our word, which as an Aggie, is extremely important." - R. Bowen Loftin - June 16, 2010

dumb fucks.

So despite A&M wanting out of the conference in June of 2012 they won't be affliliated with the conference. Are they going to be barred from playing conference games, participating in Big 12 post season tournaments. No. They will no longer be affiliated with the conference as of June 2012, thus your Sept 7, 2011 = future is not correct.

sorry, you are right.

so Loftin is still correct when he said the future.......he never said WHEN in the future or how LONG into the future A&M would be in the Big 12.

....anyway why are these schools so pissed at A&M and not suing Colorado or Nebraska? or the PAC 12 and Big 10?

Because when they left, there were assurances from the rest of the conference that they would hold together. I guarantee you that if realignment had happened last summer, Baylor would've gone biblical.

Just my opinion, but (a) they paid an exit fee and (b) when they left the conference the Big 12 got that new TV deal and the confernece wasn't on the verge of collapsing, well at least Mr. Beebe saw it that way.

We aren't actively preventing others from doing what's best for them. Baylor is doing that to us. Baylor looks like the crazy ex girlfriend trying to drag her boyfriend back with her.

Baylor, Texas, and every other University out there has the right to do what's best for them, and they should. That doesn't mean I'm not going to talk massive amounts of shit to baylor for holding us back from what we want. Fuck them. I've not once said that Texas shouldn't take money and do whatever they can to bring their program to success. That doesn't mean I hope the lhn fails miserably...

Also, we're not whining, we're trying to leave. How is that whining? The "B12 commissioner" made a promise that was fallacious - I'd say we have a damn good reason for being pissed.

I hafta agree with Sisk here.

SEC's like that somewhat prudish bitch that won't letchoo fuck without a condom. She COULD letchoo hit that bareback, but she simply refuses. Can't necessarily blame her, considering how many dirty "jars" you've jizzed in. Baylor, in this instance, plays the role of the only corner store open this late, but they're fresh outta rubbers, or, in Baylor's case, simply refuse to sell them to you.

Amidst all the frustration, you can't seem to help but blame "the corner store" for preventing you from busting your proverbial nut.
