I don't think any quarterback even has close to seven, come to think of it. Staubach has five. Off the top of my head, that's the most I can think of.

What's funny is I don't even think Sanchez is very good. :lol

For some reason I just don't think Green Bay is going back.

I really should pick Pittsburgh to win it. But I'm a Browns homer and I'm not picking fucking Pittsburgh to win the Super Bowl, I'm just not.

He's tied with 4 other QBs (Len Dawson, Staubach, Delhomme, and Flacco) as the QBs with the most road playoff wins in NFL history (which would be 4).

Picking the Chargers to make a SB run is infinitely smarter than picking the Raiders to make the playoffs--especially after losing one of their top 2 players.

In this case, hell yes. Chargers had a slew of injuries to their WR corps and Vincent Jackson played only 3 or 4 games due to holdout. Gates also missed a chunk of games. Rivers still put up nasty #'s despite that. The special teams gave away 3-4 games--no way in hell that's happening again, especially with the kickoffs now. They finished tops in O and D too. They have everybody back now.

The Raiders lost Nnamdi on defense and Zach Miller on offense (led his team in receptions I think). Besides, we all know they aren't finishing 6-0 in the division again.

DUNCANownsKOBE
09-07-2011, 08:12 PM
They also lost the defensive coordinator who made their defense greatly over achieve. That defense will be average this year. It's got mediocre talent that is no longer carried by Ron Rivera's great coaching.

You may be right. Tbh I don't really trust any AFC team in the playoffs these days...I just have a hunch the Chargers will get their shit together. They may or may not make a run, but it's a fucking certainty the Raiders are going nowhere.

Like I said, I don't trust any AFC team enough to bet on them to make a SB(I just think SD will do it)...but I'll bet anyone here 5 bills that the Raiders don't make the playoffs. I'll even offer a side bet of $100 that they don't even reach .500.

TIMMYtoZO
09-07-2011, 08:30 PM
IF the Chargers actually had a good coach, I could see them as a serious threat. Norv Turner turns into super conservative mode in the postseason. He hasn't changed his ways. The Chargers front office screwed the pooch by hanging onto him.

TIMMYtoZO

The AFC this year will come down to the Patriots, Ravens, and Jets. The Steelers are coming off a superbowl loss which means they will be a lot weaker this season. The Colts are done without Peyton.

I'm not a fan of the Falcons at all, I wouldn't be surprised if they miss the playoffs, teams will be better prepared for them this season, and they're banged up..

Picking the Patriots is cliche, but I don't see them losing, although I always feel that way about them..

I'd be surprised if Green Bay doesn't win, barring injuries, they're stacked on both sides..

Look at the Ravens schedule:

PIT, W
@TEN
@STL
NYJ
Bye week
HOU
@JAX
AZ

sons everyone is a little surprised by the 9ers success but when you take a closer look, there's really no surprise at all.

now sons i know i might be beating a dead horse here, but their 4-1 record once again proves that a quarterback is a honky's job. Alex Smith now has a white coach, who was a former quarterback, and look what happened sons. Singletary was a good defensive coordinator but he was in no shape to handle a young quarterback. Eventually he got frustrated and put in a fellow mooncricket in Troy Smith who just ######ed around the pocket, ######ing the 9ers right out of the playoffs

:lmao I love how we've turned the word n!gger into a verb. I can't wait for webster to add a definition.

n!ggering - v. - doing stupid things during a football game while relying solely on athleticism (usually done by black quarterback who lacks the proper intelligence/poise/throwing fundamentals a pocket QB needs)
