I don't get the fascination with these shoes. They look like moon boots. Only uglier. Who would truly want to own a pair?

And why would someone pay $37,500 for them? Stupid.

There are only 1,500 pair being made and they're being auctioned on EBay. I've heard bidding is at $75K currently. :wow

I thought these were badass until I realized that they don't power-lace. Considering that, I don't see the big deal. We've had shoes with lights since the 80s, and they probably could've also matched the futuristic design 20 years ago as well.

Not that anybody needs power lacing shoes; just hard to believe people are shelling out thousands for this gimmicky product that doesn't even perform the gimmick.
