Crises with Turkey and Egypt represent a political tsunami for Israel (http://www.haaretz.com/news/diplomacy-defense/analysis-crises-with-turkey-and-egypt-represent-a-political-tsunami-for-israel-1.383596)

The political crisis has become a reality well before the Palestinians declare their independent state, writes Haaretz editor-in-chief Aluf Benn, leaving Israel isolated in facing Iran, Turkey and Egypt.

Netanyahu now hopes that Israel might be able to get close with Saudi Arabia and the other Gulf States, who also seek to block the possibility of an Arab Spring in the region.

The was no old govt, there was only Kadafi.

There is no new govt, yet.

Like Iraq and Afghanistan, where the imperial MIC and it $Ts have failed totally to country-build, Libya will be a shithole for decades.

Not mentioning the five Egyptian policemen killed last week and and Israel's refusal to apologize is a fairly significant omission by the NYT.
