They better not lose. They better not.

HarlemHeat37
09-12-2011, 09:00 PM
I feel the same way, tbh..

I'm kind of hyped for the season, but losing to the Raiders would put an early end to that..

I'm scared of McFadden, Denver still can't defend the run, it might get ugly..hopefully Orton doesn't have to perform in clutch time, at any point..

Closer and closer to Tebow, at least..he'll be starting by mid-season, hopefully..

:lol Moreno and Ayers has to be the worst 2-pick 1st round in NFL draft history..

:lol Moreno is going to cost me my pool this week..

:lol They're gonna have to rely on Willis McGahee, a past his prime by 5 years running back..

Like what I'm seeing so far, but I won't hold my breath. Over the past 8 seasons, I've become ultra-cynical with this franchise and expect disaster on every snap. Last year's 8-8 ecstasy was like winning the fuckin' Super Bowl.

HarlemHeat37

I wouldn't get my hopes up about the Raiders, based on this game, they're playing against a bottom-5 team in the NFL IMO, unless Tebow is the QB..

They need a real challenge, in regards to making judgments/analysis IMO..

Tebow moved ahead of Quinn, after the last game of the pre-season, tbh..

Also, one of the reasons Tebow isn't starting is due to the massive signing bonus he would receive, if he starts a certain amount of games in his first 3 seasons IMO..

Not only does Orton suck, but he's boring, too..logically, a rebuilding team would start their young QB, for evaluation and experience purposes..if he sucks, at least they would know for a fact, that they should go after a QB in the draft next year..

Keeping McCoy as offensive coordinator was fucking stupid, his offense is the same as last year, he's McDaniels Jr..

John Fox is an idiot, too..

I bought into hope certain years.

2003(Obviously. Just lost the Super Bowl), 2005(Moss), and 2008(adding FA's like Hall, Walker and Wilson). Last year, I hardly had any, and they went 8-8.

this defense is by far the best ive seen since the 2002 superbowl team, in that they are physical, sharp, and tackling with great discipline. im excited so far. the offensive playcalling overall has been fantastic, they just need to get a little more out of the passing game.

they have arguably the best front 7 in the league, and the secondary is actually doing quite well. CJ gave up a couple catches, but they were more a result of poor field conditions, and he did a good job recovering quickly for the tackle.

the biggest thing so far is how much better the team as a whole is tackling. its night and day from previous seasons.

Oakland looks mediocre to me, tbh, a lot of talent, but they're still committing an abundance of terrible mental mistakes..they should be winning this game by 2+ TDs IMO..

The fact that they have great lines on both ends will keep them in every game though IMO..if they had better coaching and a passing attack, they could be a playoff team IMO..

not having Boss hurt the red zone offense IMO. Campbell likes going to his TEs. Also, Murphy was missed with his ability to find open holes in the defense.

if they can stop with sooooo many of the dumbass penalties (although the game in general tonight was called ridiculously tightly, a lot of ticky-tack calls both ways), they have a solid shot at the division.

im just mostly happy with the great improvement of the defense, especially against the run, and in tackling.
