Who was the better player: Kobe Byrant or Allen Iverson

Since the lock out has got us to making stupid ass comparison threads I thought I'd start one of my own.

There is no doubt in my mind the Lakers would have won the same amount of championships through 2000-2002 with Allen Iverson playing 2. Shaq was the first option on those teams. Hell Mitch Richmond would have had him a couple of rings. A debate can be made about about 2009-2010 maybe. In my opinion the same applies to those championships to.

So who was the better player?

I don't think they would beat the Pacers with AI instead of Kobe. Kobe was a good parameter defender back then and AI just disrupted passing.
