He got a spot on the training camp roster. Still had to earn a spot on the team. I've seen people give spots on training camp rosters for less, tbh.

If you watched the show, you'd see Irvin worked their asses off. Holley earned that chance to make it on the training camp roster.

yep...Irvin put them through hell...winner got a spot on the training camp roster...with an opportunity to win a spot on the roster, still on the practice team, though. Jesse worked his way up...
