Buffalo comes crashing back down to earth, 45-10.

DUNCANownsKOBE

If New England's defense plays anything like it did last week, Fitzmagic will put up more than 10 points. It'll be a shoot out the Patriots eventually win IMO but the Bills passing game is good enough to give New England problems.

McCourty and Bodden better figure shit out quickly.

DeadlyDynasty
09-19-2011, 12:33 PM
We just lost Mr. Glass indefinitely again and Stevie's bothered by a strained groin. Throw in a new RG and methinks the points will be at a premium for Buffalo this week. If Fitz gets 3 td passes in this game then he's officially a boss.

O/U=51.5. The line has dropped to Patriots (-8.5). There's no such thing as a sure thing, but taking the Pats here is damn close. Betting big money on them if the line doesn't go above 9.5

The Bills line has been very good. Fitz is smart and knows when to get rid of the ball but he's rarely been touched the last 2 games and his line plays a huge role in this (OAK D was good at sacking the QB last year). The fact that NE has been struggling to apply consistent pressure on the QB doesn't bode well.

No offense to anyone who posts here but this "Did you know Ryan Fitzpatrick went to Harvard?" repetitive shit from the media is making me sick to my stomach. We are one win over the Pats next week from making "Jerome Bettis: Detroit Native" look like an under-reported story. It is up to our scrappy, undersized, white heroes from New England to put an end to this madness.

I didn't know where else to put this but its nice ESPN finally managed to fit Boston's entire cock down their throat (http://www.boston.com/sports/touching_all_the_bases/2011/09/espn_mag_delivers_all-boston_i.html).

Combine that with their stellar pregame from last week where they "debated" the following:

- Is Romo a good quarterback or not?
- Will Vick get cheered or booed in ATL?
- Does Ochocinco tweet too much?

And its been a pretty strong week. Fuck I hate ESPN.

NE wins easily.

Buffalo and NE have more white starters than any other team.

Great game by the Bills. They didn't lose composure, that is a sign of a well coached team. Their coach is the leading candidate for COTY.

The pats on the other hand need to address their defense issues or it's another one and done.

In one League I'm in a guy has Brady/Welker/Grankowski... Let's just say nobody looks forward to playing that guy. He's got Peterson as his #1 RB as well. Last week he had like a 170 points in a 12-team league. This week he's well over 120 already on his way to probably 140/150. It's just unfair.

Couldn't agree more. Look what happened once Bill O'Brien became the offensive coordinator. This HC/DC thing Belichick tries to do isn't working no matter how much time he spends on football.

LnGrrrR
09-26-2011, 12:30 AM
I don't think this team needs more offense. We can't get a stop to save our lives. Sure Brady had a shitty day with four interceptions, but when you put up 38 pts, you should win. The defense of that last drive was pathetic.

For the past two or three years, the Pats have been one of the shittiest teams on 3rd down. I haven't seen much change.

Monostradamus
09-26-2011, 12:33 AM
If Haynesworth can finally get healthy and plays motivated, that will be the difference between one and done, or being SB contenders.

Kinda sucks knowing the entire season rests in his hands.

Monostradamus
09-26-2011, 12:34 AM
Also, it's clear Ohsostinko won't do anything besides be the 6th option on this team. At least Moss can be a deep threat. As it is, no deep threat is again hurting the offense because the safeties can cheat. And it will be the team's undoing in the playoffs yet again.

Belichick's personnel decisions have been sketch to say the least. Cutting half the secondary (including the one safety on the team who was decent in coverage) when the half he kept fuckin sucks looks really stupid.

and for the record, I stand by the cutting of Merriweather. He wouldn't be helping at all. Once he made a Pro Bowl, he got Roy Williamsitis and thought that he could do the most retarded shit of all time all game long, just as long as he fucked up a receiver or two during the game with a big hit, all would be forgiven. There's no room on an NFL roster for assholes like that.

No physical or big receivers either, which IMO has a lot to do with a flaw in Brady no one talks about. It seems like any throw he's not putting on a line and isn't a bullet is inaccurate and poorly timed. His finesse passes are terrible.

He had some nice plays against Miami in Week 1, but he's been dogshit since then. Stevie was abusing him in the first half, so they moved him onto Donald Jones in the 2nd and the beating continued. The guy was out of position and completely lost all game.

It's still early in the season and anything is possible but what would happen if the Bills and Lions were in the Super Bowl? How would the NFL market a Super Bowl matchup like that? I think it's poor technique and lack of physicality. He's in a man to man scheme and is supposed to jam hard the receiver but rarely does so. The receiver (Marshall or Jackson) being stronger or faster (Johnson) he tries to over-pursue in order to not get beat deep and misses the WR hitting his breaks for big gains. The technique is something that will be corrected and the pats won't face a strong number 1 WR other than Marshall and maybe Bowe.
