Scientists Disarm AIDS Virus’ Attack on Immune System
Scientists say they have found a way to disarm the AIDS virus in research that could lead to a vaccine. Researchers have discovered that if they eliminate a cholesterol membrane surrounding the virus, HIV cannot disrupt communication among disease-fighting cells and the immune system returns to normal.
Scientists have discovered that HIV needs cholesterol, which it picks up from the first immune cells it infects, to keep the virus' outer membrane fluid. That allows it to communicate with - and disrupt - the body's immune system.
The long-term effect of this disrupted communication is to destroy the body’s normal defense against the AIDS virus, which is responsible for 1.8 million deaths each year.
But researchers say they can prevent HIV from damaging the immune system, if they remove the cholesterol from the virus’ outer membrane.

HIV Vaccine Trial Shows 90% Immune Response
"Researchers at the Spanish Superior Scientific Research Council (CSIC) have successfully completed Phase I human clinical trials of a HIV vaccine in which 90% of volunteers developed an immunological response against the virus (http://www.gizmag.com/spanish-hiv-vaccine-90-percent-immune-response/19973/). The MVA-B vaccine draws on the natural capabilities of the human immune system and 'has proven to be as powerful as any other vaccine currently being studied, or even more,' says Mariano Esteban, head researcher from CSIC's National Biotech Centre."

Are these the same scientist that said this?
SCIENTISTS claimed yesterday that they have proved Albert Einstein got his famous theory WRONG.

Or are they the scientist that said cigarettes are good for you?

Not all asbestos is bad for you, the one commonly used for insulation is safe and was pulled due to idiocy.
Those ads say nothing about cigarettes being good for you, only that they taste good or better than others. :lmao I hope you understand the difference between science and marketing bro.
And that link you provided goes to The Sun :lmao :lmao You gonna give me a link to the Weekly World News too? I've been wondering how Bat Boy has been doing

Not one of those pictures says anything about doctors saying cigarettes are good for you :lmao
And :lol @ using obviously 50+ year old ads that don't even say it's healthy for you as proof.
An ad saying scientists smoke Kents because they taste better, one saying scientists agree Chesterfields don't have an unpleasant after taste, physicians saying Lucky's are less irritating to your throat, and dentists ( :lol ) recommending Viceroys =/= "cigarettes are good for you!"
The one with the baby? C'mon son :lmao

I think my photos outdated as they may be make the point.
The truth is I never said I hate Science or think it's not good I point out lies in the text books no matter who says them, it could be a Doctor or a Psychiatrist and they need to have proof if they make claims that are mostly a theory or personal opinions.
If a Music teacher put in the text books something that is not true and I call them out doesn't mean I don't love music.
Who else but the Scientist made claims they have evidence of how old the Earth is or How Asbestos makes a great coffee creamer can I call out?
Find me the real person who writes the Science books and I will call them out instead.
