Sons I mean seriously how much does it cost? Like $10 a month or so? I personally never use Netflix, but considering the amount of services you get from them the price sounds very good. Are some people really that spoiled and cheap to complain about an increase that small?

I tell sons some people just want everything for nothing

I only use netflix when a bunch of good blu-ray movies come out. I'm not a perpetual subscriber, but I hear the increase is from $8 to $16 or something like that which is quite an increase.

Guess I can come up with a few. Naturally I feel the price raise sucks because streaming and DVD service for $10 is a pretty damn good deal but I'm not bitching about it. I still have both services for $16 but honestly I don't think it's worth that much so I'm cutting to one option soon.

1) Price increases are happening everywhere in a shitty economy
2) People feel that after all of their years using Netflix, it is insensitive to raise prices on them, especially if said people are having a tough time.
3) "Screw your business improvement ideas, things are perfect the way it was!" mentality
4) The price change is causing people to choose one or the other instead of paying for both and a lot of people enjoyed having both options. (That's my main beef)
5) People don't really understand economics and look no further than the money they have to shell out of their wallets.

Netflix sucks

Guess it will suck a little less next year when netflix streams/gets dreamworks. Course then they lose starz and Disney apparently....so the suckness stays the same.

agree with hornet fan. While phone companies and cable companies have been fucking us in the ass for ages charging 300% of fair value. Netflix is fighting for a few cents with the major movie studios.

:lmao ppl crying for a couple dollars increase when their cell/cable companies do this every other month.

It's not about Netflix themselves. I just don't find anything interesting in their lineup of movies and shows. It's like going through the 2 dollar bin at Blockbuster (RIP).

It's reasonable to be annoyed by a nearly doubled price and what will be a considerably more complicated and clunky user experience.

That said, if you're someone who uses the service a lot (as I do), and/or someone who considers the entertainment value of movies and television shows to be worth paying for (as I also do), it's still well worth the inflated price and considerably cheaper and more convenient than any of the other options.

There are still tons of movies and shows for me to select from so I'm not complaining.

plenty of good movies and shows. Especially for ppl that like independent/foreign movies.
