Satisfaction in government is at an all time low. But, there's hope. Look what happened when Nixon resigned.

"Their government" includes more than the Presidency.

Pathetic strawman is pathetic.

I never said the graph was strictly about the presidency. I just noted that after Nixon resigned, it improved. We've hit 19%, maybe Obama should consider something drastic...like Nixon.

What do the polls say about the tea party? BHM obviously has issues right now, but so do the republicans.

They say people generally don'tlike them.

There has not been one poll that states that.

"There has not been one poll that states that."

Several polls over the last couple months, esp after the debt ceiling/shutdown debacle driven by tea baggers, have shown tea bagger approval below 30%.

this poll does not show that even their polling showed that people generally or overall don't like them.

yep, tea baggers will always be a fringe movement. Even the VRWC can't buy and/or dupe enough tea bagger suckers to be anything but fringe nihilist extremists.

Ayn Rand Paul, ALONE, is blocking pipeline safety regs "on principle", which I assume he means the serial violators lie PG&E and the oilcos can be trusted to self-regulate without regulations. He's a fucking asshole.

What I gather from this chart is that after Nixon resigned they didn't ask that question for another 12 years.

St Ronnie had professional actors voice and delivery, but he was a failed President. started digging the VRWC shithole the USA and Europe are in now. People are suckers for smooth talkers and pleasant superficiality.

Barry was the anti-dubya, the anti-Repug. Lots voted for him because he wasn't Repug, and that will happen again with whatever their super weak nominee will be.

IMO, I believe that many voted for Obama not because he wasn't a republican but because they thought he wasn't a "washington" guy and would get us out of the partisian avalanche. Same reason why Hillary lost that nomination - too many thought she was part of the washington crowd who would keep government the same way.
