The idiots in the NBA that watched ESPN and got the impression that Kobe was clutch/great. Combined that with a select few that independently thought that he was the best and the snowball grows rather quickly. Especially with ESPN there with cameras trying to provide a interesting story to sports fans. It's really just to continue a fabricated story about a SG that showed a little flash and was given the title of the next MJ.


Interesting fact about the Solomon Asch Experiment:

At least 75% of the subjects gave the wrong answer to at least one question...
