:lol...this is like chinese water ( as Kobe once alluded to) drip drip drip...my nikkas got the Stern by the balls...he's trying to compromise more and more each day because he knows he's fucked...You guys keep saying the owners have more money than the players and can wait it out...Don't quite understand how business works...It's not about their money in the bank it's about the money they're projected to lose...which is way more than the players btw...They smart business men they're just surprised that my nikkas have come up and are pretty dam smart and saavy themselves...

Owners Ask Players To Entertain 50-50 Split

David Stern addressed the media following Tuesday's meeting and talked about coming off a hard cap, no rollbacks of existing salaries, players can opt-out after seven years.
Stern said that the owners informally asked if the players would be willing to entertain a 50-50 split of BRI on a conceptual level.
The players said that it would not be something they were comfortable considering.
"We want the dignity and luxury of being at the 47 against their 53," said Stern.
