THERE are growing fears that Israel's increasing isolation in the region has led it to consider a pre-emptive strike against Iran's nuclear facilities, prompting a flurry of diplomatic activity and a public warning against any unilateral action from a former Mossad chief.

It's almost as if you've never heard Iran, Syria, Hezbollah, or Hamas repeatedly threaten the extinction of the Jewish State.

Not news really. They've demonstrated the willingness and resolve to do this in the past, twice actually. No reason to believe that they're bluffing this time around. Hence all of the worry.

I hope it doesn't come to that, but at the end of the day Ackmahdinejhad (sp?) is a nut. We've known for years that Iran's intentions are dark indeed. I've seen Iran's capabilities. It won't end well.
