37-97 .360% in game 7's
38-108 .352% in title winning games
41% in 37 finals games
66-163 .400% to win finals mvp....lowest fg% ever for a finals mvp (dirk this yr is #2 at 41% i believe)

One of the most overrated players of all-time, right up there with Dirk as this era's most overrated player :lol

I always saw Fisher as the go-to guy when it was the final possession. Pretty underrated guy in crunch when it comes to playmaking, protecting the ball and making big shots.

Look up some of John Havlicek's numbers, and you'll find he wasn't as great as the media advertises. But it is a team game, and some guys' careers & lives are simply charmed or lucky.

The objective is to win. Having better stats only means so much in the end. Would you rather be Jerry West with a stellar triple-double in game 7, but a loss at home (1969)? Life isn't fair. But then - when is it ever about fairness or what is deserved?

Stats might be a good predictor on who should win (prior to a game), or a good indicator on who should have won (afterwards, upon box score analysis). But they don't replace the actual winning.

Me and SC being spur and laker fans is like Romero and Juilet living in families that hate each other.

i agree. not because of the .4 shot but because he takes the best shot. dont know why everyone says kobes the go to guy for a clutch shot. he makes the shot difficult not the defense. no reason for a fadaway 3 when his defender is still trying to get around the screen.
