I haven't been here for more than 1 year because of my job. I was a student and I had plenty of time to watch NBA and follow NBA news. So can anyone tell me what has happened last season? What I am more concerned about is Tim Duncan. Is he going to retire? I am not trolling I work 6 days a week and I have to wash my socks and underwear in the day I am off work.
BTW, I think this forum is now less popular than it was 2 or 3 years ago. My last visit was on 07-06-2010, I remember the number of active member was about 200 or something? I log in today because I played basketball today. I can't find the rim in the court, and the same thing for this forum.
So anyone can tell me any story about this forum in the past year?

A lot of shit happened and because of that there's a lockout and because of that there's no basketball and because there's no basketball there's no spurs and because there's no spurs nothing much is happening to this forum.

Last season: Spurs played no defense, but won a bunch of regular season games, causing people to think they were better than they were. Then, they got bounced from the playoffs.
Duncan: Why would think he is retiring?
SpursTalk: As you'd expect there's not many people here talking basketball during a lockout.

Until you get a better grasp of the English language, you should prolly hold off on the attempts at humorous metaphors...
Spurs peaked too early last season and are too undersized especially against the West. Injuries hit the Spurs especially late in the season whether it was Tiago (which resulted in too much Bonner), James Anderson (Spurs didn't really have a legit back up SF but Anderson showed potential before injury), Duncan's ankle (Spurs struggled after Duncan went down in the reg season and tweaked his ankle again in the playoffs), McDyess' leg (dude hobbled several times during the end of the season and suffered a shoulder stinger in the playoffs) or Manu's arm. Sure all teams suffer injuries but the Spurs have been fragile and lack the depth to compensate. The healthy Tony Parker played like crap in the playoffs especially when it comes to taking care of the ball and getting the team involved and is simply a terrible fit with RJ (and vice-versa).
Imo the turning point of the season was when Duncan went down and obviously after Manu got injured as well. :depressed
Oh yea and the Grizz were a good, young, big, athletic, half-court oriented team that played playoffs-style bball throughout the reg season.

TD went down late in the season, our huge lead over everyone in the NBA slowly dissapates until the last game and Manu has his *%&ing arm broken......CASE CLOSED unfortunately..................................... ...

Thank you everyone. I didn't expect so many replies from you. I hope the lockout could finish soon and Spurs play well.
I'd better off playing online games in the forum.
