They decriminalized domestic violence!

the city manager was on NPR last night. cleared it all up. You've been fooled, again, by the media getting it all wrong.

Topeka killed an overlapping law against domestic violence, overlapping the state law.

Domestic violence is still a STATE crime but the $1M it costs to prosecute as a city crime has has now been shifted to another entity as a state crime.
