"We reached this milestone at approximately noon CT/1pm ET. I got the iPhone 4s, but on Verizon. I had unlimited data already so I was grandfathered in. I never had an iPhone before, I had an Android phone before this, and I liked it. I've tinkered with Android phones that my friends had, and I liked those. But my experience thus far with the iPhone blows away my experience with Android phones.

It's simple, fun to use, the screen is incredible, and I've found Siri to be very useful to me. Maybe that makes me an iSheep now, but I could give a fuck less. This is hands down the best phone I've ever used in my life.

Just 3 days ago, we told you how 9to5Mac in collaboration with developer (https://twitter.com/#%21/stroughtonsmith) Steven Troughton-Smith ported the Siri technology from iPhone 4S to iPhone 4 and had shown at on video (http://www.iphoneincanada.ca/iphone-news/lo-behold-siri-has-been-ported-to-iphone-4-video-demos/) as well. Today, another claim comes from developer @Jackoplane (https://twitter.com/JackoPlane) who says to have gotten Siri to run on all iOS 5 devices without even requiring a jailbreak. He also says that a video of the port will be posted shortly as well. Meanwhile, the developer has tweeted an FAQ about this fully functional port of Siri on iPhone 4 / 3GS, iPod touch 3G / 4G and iPad / iPad 2. Check it out below:

The process of enabling Siri on non-supported devices does not require any jailbreak, according to the developer. He says that you’ll need to use “NSFileManager” to get this to work. There is no ETA for the release yet but shouldn’t be long before we see more of it. Stay tuned!

The battery life on my iPhone 4 did go down quite a bit when I first installed iOS 5. But once I tinkered with the notifications and some other features, I got that battery life back where I had it before.

The notifications are what will drain your battery more than anything from my experience.
