Wasn't expecting a sweep in the first place like several people were so I'm not sweating it. I say spurs win Thursday by 5-10 and the win down the wire on Sunday like in 99. What do you guys think?

That's what I said in the beginning.

Be nice if we could win game 4...then play beno, devon, massenburg, rasho, and some lucky fan... in game 5.

In five Lol! That's some funny shizzle.

Game 1= Close battle up until the 4th quarter
Game 2= No Comment
Game 3= Close going into the 4th quarter then a no comment for your Spurs fan :)

I think the object is a nose ahead actually. The Pistons put on a hurting tonight that the spurs won't forget. Pistons in 6. I hope I am wrong.

You're saying the Pistons are going to win all 3 in Detroit and then 1 back in SA -- win out?

I can see it going to 7, but 6? mmmKay. :lol

Spurs in 6 -- which yes, means that they will lose 1 more.

If you think the Spurs won't forget tonight.......don't you believe the Spurs will respond with a "W"?

Pistons hit the big shots last night (game 3)....some were open some were lucky. Pop will have the Spurs ready for bear in game 4.

I have Vbookie $$$$ on Spurs in 6.

My prediction hasn't changed, Spurs in 6.

Although I believe that if they do it right, have the right attitude, etc, Spurs in 5.

Still Spurs in six, although I'm hoping they just win the next two. I want the Spurs to win a title but I'm really getting tired of ABC's piss poor coverage. I never thought that I might miss the NBC broadcast duo of Costas and Walton.

"And with that three Horry now goes ahead of Jordan for the number of finals three pointers. Of course, we shouldn't lose sight of the fact that even though Horry is ahead of Jordan in one category that Jordan is a better player. The greatest player ever in fact. Mike, if you're watching I still love you! Please come back! I need you Mike, I need you!"

"Um, Bob, I hate to interupt but while you were speaking you missed Ben Wallace hitting a six foot jumper. He really has the greatest mid-range game of all time and it was on full display there. Then Barry missed a jumper, which was easily the worse decision ever made in the finals by any human being in history, because Barry is really not a jumper shooter by any stretch of the imagination. Luckily for him, Beno Udrih got the offensive rebound, which shouldn't surprise anyone since Udrih is certainly the greatest post-season rebounder ever."

"And speaking of basketball, Bill, I have to go change my shorts because I was thinking a little too much about Michael Jordan."

At the beginning I said spurs in 6. After game 1 I was sticking with my pick. After game 2 I was thinking spurs in 5. Now it looks like my original pick was correct.

Expect the next 2 games to be close and the spurs to take one of them. Then you'll see a spurs win in game 6 back home.

CosmicCowboy
06-15-2005, 09:42 AM
same as before the series started...

Spurs protect home court and win 1 & 2...Pistons adjust and bounce back with home court energy and win game three...Spurs adjust and win game 4...Detroit fights back and wins the elimination game 5...Spurs go home and take game 6.

Spurs in 6 as I said. Pop gift wrapped this mutha for Brown. A peace offering. Outta respect. They had a chance to take the game back early in the fourth and threw up all over themselve what the hell happened why all of a sudden all the turnovers.......... Of course all the calls were against the Spurs. oh well I want them to win the whole enchilada at home anyway. We celebrate this shit right here in the SBC. Go Spurs Go. And we'll bring the hairnet for ole BIG BEN the fag too.

Spurs in 6.

and as far as ABC's coverage is concerned my wife can't stand watching Hubie Brown.
She turns away because she says he is nursing material already.

I just hate hearing ALL this Pistons need to this or what a great play the Pistons made.I hate hearing Steven A Smith and Phil Jackson and Kobe.Seeing Stern with that
face of having to be there like he's at a funeral.

Spurs in six. The Pistons are very resilient, prideful and at home for a couple more games. Game 4 is San Antonio's, hands down. It'll be done in six, though.

I called game 4, I stand by that prediction.

I think if Manu is healthy, the Spurs come back and steal Detroit's momentum right back.

Spurs will win at least one game on the road. If they lose all 3...well I don't even want to think about it, but I don't think they will. As long as they continue to play the way that got them here, and not try to dovert themselves, I think they'll be ok.

Spurs in 6. I really don't think it can be done in 5.
