This.

No NBA franchise in TOP WORLD 50 on annual sport teams income.

The first are the Lakers at rank 54th with "only" 150 M compared to Real Madrid FC 450 M(1st) or Yankees(3rd) 416 M.

The Spurs are far behind at rank 105 with 94 M income wich is pretty good though.

But you can see in this ranking that NFL dominates USA as usual and even MLB earns more money than NBA,like everyone knows.

Then at the top well paid athletes list you see this:

1. Tiger Woods - Golf - United States - €52 million
2. Kobe Bryant - Basketball - United States - €36 million
3. LeBron James - Basketball - United States - €33 million
4. Phil Mickelson - Golf - United States - €32 million
5. Roger Federer - Tennis - Switzerland - €32 million
6. David Beckham - Association football - United Kingdom - €27 million
7. Cristiano Ronaldo - Association football - Portugal - €26 million
8. Alex Rodriguez - Baseball - United States - €24 million
9. Michael Schumacher - Formula One - Germany - €23 million
10. Fernando Alonso - Formula One - Spain - €22 million
11. Lionel Messi - Association football - Argentina - €22 million
12. Rafael Nadal - Tennis - Spain - €21 million
13. Tom Brady - American football - United States - €21 million
14. Valentino Rossi - Motorcycle racing - Italy - €21 million
15. Derek Jeter - Baseball - United States - €20 million
16. Lewis Hamilton - Formula One - United Kingdom - €20 million

I agree it could pretty noob to compare like that but even it's kobe or Lebron or sponsor there're anyway 2 NBA players in top 3.
That resumes everything.

To go further, 50 NBA players make more than 10 M a year of salary.(In dollars)
With 25 ot them between 15 and 25.
Compared to soccer salaries wich count the richest franchises of the world (They dominate the world top 15), the top paid athletes are(in dollars):

1 Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) 16 M
- 2 Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Barcelone)16 M
- 3 Lionel Messi (Barcelone) 14 M
- 4 Samuel Eto´o (Inter) 13 M
- 5 Ricardo Kaká (Real Madrid) 12 M
- 6 Emmanuel Adebayor (Man City) 10 M
- 7 Karim Benzema (Real Madrid) 10 M
- 8 Carlos Tevez (Man City) 9 M
- 9 John Terry (Chelsea) 9 M
- 10 Frank Lampard (Chelsea) 9 M
- 11 Thierry Henry (Barcelone) 9 M
- 12 Xavi (Barcelone) 9 M
- 13 Ronaldinho (AC Milan) 9 M
- 14 Steven Gerrard (Liverpool) 9 M
- 15 Daniel Alves (Barcelone) 8 M
- 16 Michael Ballack (Chelsea) 8 M
- 17 Raúl Gonzalez (Real Madrid) 8 M
- 18 Rio Ferdinand (Man United) 8 M
- 19 Kolo Touré (Man City) 8 M
- 20 Wayne Rooney (Man United) 8 M
- 21 Robinho (Man City/Santos) 8 M
- 22 Iker Casillas (Real Madrid) 8 M
- 23 Victor Valdéz (Barcelone) 8 M
[...]
-50 Alessandro Del Piero (Juventus) 6 M

So the best soccer player in the world Lionel Messi is less paid than Fu***
Antwan Jamison wich makes around 15 M a year !!!
And barely more than Richard Hamilton wich makes 13 M at rank 30 wich is comparable to a top 5 soccer salaries !!!

Fu***** Labor Union my ass.

I've never heard of most of the people on the 2nd list (some I have but never watched them play).

Reason 2: Even YOU aren't on a soccer forum bitching about it.

Paul Allen - 15 B

He could subsidize the poor schmuck owners like Peter Holt with his walk around money and call it a day. Let's play some basketball.
