Nothing screams douche louder than some ordinary joe rocking a bluetooth in his ear.
Do your part and punch these people in the face. If they also have a Livestrong bracelet on then kick them in the dick too.

So they're a douche because they don't want to have to fuck around with pulling a cell phone out of their pocket and trying to hold it to their ear while they're trying to do something else?

I think wearing a blue tooth screams, "I look like a douche but I may or may not really be one."

In a car bluetooths are acceptable. Walking around a goddamn wal-mart with one is about as douchey as it gets.

And no racist but 90% of bluetooth wearing douches are black guys.

Hmmm. I don't think of "douche" as a word to describe a black person. If only there was a good word to describe a black guy wearing a blue tooth...

Yes. If they spend that much time on the phone, then they need to either deal with using it like a goddamn phone, or get a life.

I have one, but always forget to use it (I have owned it for two years, but used it for maybe a total of 10 days). I do, however, find it incredibly useful, especially when I am working on my car or motorcycle.

It's also useful during phone sex if she asks you to give yourself the shocker while rubbing your own nipples.

Not saying there is NEVER a reason to use one. If you are doing something that requires you to have your hands free AND be on the phone, have at it. If you have a job that requires you to constantly be on the phone and you are wearing it in the office, fine.

I'm mostly referring to those people who just walk down the street or through the grocery store wearing one when they aren't even on a call.

I agree if you are not on call or not in the office and you have one on b/c you think it looks cool, then you are a douche. I also put in that category people who can't live without their cell phone. They can't do anything without their cell. Young and old alike, they look at their cell every freaking second! Especially people texting/talking on their cell while driving.....DOUCHE BAG TO THE MAX!!!!

I love how the stereotypical bluetooth wearer by comics and tv has mostly been smug rich white people when EVERY single bluetooth I've EVER seen has been on a black guy. Then again, I can see white business people in NYC or something using it all the time but everywhere else in this country it's black people's thing

i think bluetooth headsets are acceptable with people who need them, like executives, etc. but the thing is, yeah, you don't really see execs in wal-mart that often. lol

If you get 5+ calls an hour you deserve to wear a blutooth even while having sex.

if you don't I agree with the OP

I wear these, so when people are bothering me I flip the headphones on with Pandora and block them out. Also at work it fits under my collar and no one even sees it but if I have a call it vibrates so I know.

Blacktooth

Slang for bluetooth device, derived from its popularity amongst the black community as the newest form of tacky, high-tech "bling". Insecure negroes who want to put on an air of importance wear them when not necessary (i.e. any time not spent driving), even when nobody calls them all day. When they do, however, they will talk loudly in public whilst flailing their limbs about to demonstrate the wonder of wireless technology and the money they spent avoiding child support payments.

"Leeroy should take off that blacktooth device; he looks like a tool and nobody is impressed."

(no racist)

I found that in the dictionary and posted it for educational purposes.
