just bought galaxy tab 10.1

Its pretty cool but has lag and not quite the snappiness of my ipad two anyone in here own a galaxy tab just wondering if you have any optimization tips for me

Get rid of animated background. Make sure you are running latest android. Download appkiller and kill any app you dont need. If that does not work something is wrong should be smooth

My cousin has the Galaxy Tab and its as smooth as the Ipad 2 IMO

I thought mine was fast I have never played with a ipad but after getting my epic touch phone I notice the tab was slower, but my kids add all kinds of game apps on there so it maybe a app slowing it down. I'm probably going to do a factory reset soon.

Also it seemed.to get slower after the touchwiz update.

So is it worth the price tag?

I already have a solid laptop @home (bought it just 2 years ago), but tablets seem to be way more comfy for browsing on your couch/bed
