Whats up Spurstalk?I've been going through some shit for a few years now. its hard to do but I need to let some ppl know. I'm gonna see how this goes. I think I social anxiety and it fuking sucks. I went through college and dropped out because of it. I was able to get into a school where everything we do is crucial and I'm fuking it up real bad. Ive been told off and rightly so. I've been thinking of dropping out. The thing is that i devoted so much time to this school. My family, friends, and neighborrs already know how much going to this school means to me. I have a partner in class and I'm gonna leave him hanging, too. If i tell them that I dont want to continue with school anymore I will let them down. The only thing left is to tell them the truth that I have social anxiety. I was thinking of going back to college and get into another degree. Well. that was it.
didn't u need to go through highschool before going to college bro?

This. They have plenty of experience, and it should help if you talk to someone. If that doesn't make it any better and it's starting to affect all facets of your life, than consider a psychologist who can also put you on the medical/chemical route.

Wait... what?
Based on your post, I'm not sure why you think you have social anxiety disorder. Or why you think it would be causing your problems at school.
If you genuinely think you're having a problem, and if you think it's a problem that's making it impossible to pursue something you care about, then I would see someone. Things like that really can't/shouldn't be self-diagnosed. And if your studies are really important and something you want to be successful in, some sort of counseling (either formal or informal/peer counseling) could be really helpful in working through whatever problems you're having.
Furthermore, if you're NOT suffering from social anxiety disorder, or any other type of anxiety, it would probably helpful to know that so that you can make future decisions on your own terms. Then you could either recognize that you're not cut out for college/not motivated by your field of study and figure out something else to do, or you can come to terms with the fact you're fucking up and need to get your shit together. Because you're not going to be able to do either of those things if you've assigned the blame to a disorder you may or may not have.

Ask koriwhat, he's been through the exact same journey, except that he also had a male secretary job that required him to fellate his boss.

Exactly, and they can give out medical treatment at the university too. You'd actually be surprised how many kids seek counseling regularly.
You shouldn't use "social anxiety" (if you really have it) as an excuse. School just comes down to motivation. Either you have the motivation to get the help you need to finish or you don't

You might also think about knocking out as much of your undergrad credits with online courses. These are usually the most crowded classes. Also try a night class here or there. From my experience, they seem generally less crowded and more laid back. Also, you can often take just one long night class for a course instead of 2 or 3 day classes per week.
I always picture a lunatic gunman open firing on a busy office and putting the gun on himself after everytime I hear social anxiety problems.
I hope you wont do that.

Listening to The Smiths will heal your social anxiety, preferably the song How Soon Is Now?
