The man is a living god. He can sit on the Pistons logo at center court if he wants.

His ears are very sensitive, I'm sure he can hear the bouncing ball and squeaking shoes and has a perfect mental picture of the game!

I'm guessing it had something to do with the fact that he did the pre-game show. He's already there, might as well stay and atleast enjoy the environment. I'd imagined the intesity of the crowd and the announcer is enough to have fun at a game, without the visuals.

If he were there, Ben Wallace would run up to him, accidently touch him and then fly backwards like he was hit by a car. The ref would call a charge on Stevie and Ben would be shooting FTs.

My guess would be that he has the money and enjoys the excitement. Why, do you have something against the blind?

Blind?

That would be visually challenged, that is the politically correct term.

Wow, I came to the Spurs board because of the class and decency shown by the Spurs fans. I can not stand the Pistons boards due to comments made by them, please tell me this is not the norm here?

Watching Stevie during the 4th as he was enjoying the energy and flow of the crowd while dancing in his seat was my favorite part of the game! It almost made me forget that the Spurs were down at the time.

Spurs are :king

Odd thread.

Why would anyone question why Stevie was there? He did the Anthem and he was enjoying basketball.

I thought it was great. The man is a legend, he can sit where he wants. Then again, I used to volunteer for the San Antonio Low Vision club so I guess I have a soft spot.

Oh also, former Spurs player Tom Garrick's dad was blind and he once said he could enjoy the game more because it was left to his imagination.

He's blind btw... his world is based on the sounds smells and vibrations. He was just really having a good time. It was nice to see him smile. When they showed him wiggling around that was just him "getting" into it.

I heard on the news that Stevie is a huge Pistons fan. But what I want to know is how does he know that he likes them?

Stevie definitely threw some good mojo on the pistons. Enough to erase the bad memories of a washed up aretha franklin and anita baker from last year's finals.
