Whos going to the concert here at the verizon? My gf is in the warehouse, and they used to give tickets out to the longest members first, but our tickets this year is further than lasts. It was pretty dissapointing, but none the less, its going to be a sweet concert. I wonder when PJ will be coming back to sa.

I'm probably going to go and chill on the lawn. DMB is great, but their last effor didn't impress me all that much. The DMB of old is who I love, and I'm not sure they're still around

I agree with you that the new Stand Up album wasnt impressive whatsoever, but I feel that the more I listen to it, the better it gets.

I feel the same. The best DMB albums are:
Under The Table and Dreaming
Crash
Before These Crowded Streets
Some Devil
Everyday
I don't really like their new stuff.

Im more of a fan of:

Crush

two step

Daves Solo album is good also.

Sorry, but the way I order them is...

Lillywhite Sessions
Live At Luther
Before These Crowded Streets
Under The Table And Dreaming
Crash
Everday
Stand Up

Some Devil is just Dave stuff, so it's not a DMB Album. Technically so is Live At Luther, but those are Dave songs. Also, Busted Stuff is just a reworked version of the Lillywhite Sessions where the songs don't add up. They left JTR off of that album and instered Where Are You Going. Where Are You Going is an OK song but it's no where near the genius of JTR, IMO.

I'll be there with my cousin, in the lawn. The warehouse screwed me on tickets last year too, so I didn't renew my membership with them.

A year ago, I would have said yes. Dave is incredible and I think he's one of the best songwriters/musicans out there, but I also think the new direction he's taken in his music is something I'm not too impressed with.

On the whole, I like a lot of people a lot. I love Buckley, Dylan, and others. I hold Pearl Jam in very high regard, and I like their new work almost as much as the old stuff. Ten however, was genius.

I can't call myself a fan of Dave Matthews....The Space Between is a great song, the only one of his that I really like. Other than that I'm not a fan.

Have you even listened to anything other than the Everyday album? Space Between is good, but it's far below alot of other songs.

I woudln't be suprised if they had a few co-dates but I don't expect JJ to open up every date. They never have the same band open up every date, and Johnson is awesome enough to gather a decent crowd at his own tour.

yeah JJ is opening for them... its on their website, and I had the pleasure of listening to his album yesterday, gag me with a fucking fork.
