Phil Davis vs. Rashad Evans - Evans looked like pure shit in his last fight. I know he won, etc., but he was certainly not the Evans of old. Add the fact that I hate his fucking guts and liver, and Phil Davis will win.

Mark Munoz vs. Chael Sonnen - I never thought I'd say it, but Chael's schtick got old, real fast. Munoz by TKO in the first round. The ONLY way to stop Munoz is with heavy hands, and lots of them -- Sonnen has daisies for fists, and couldn't knock out a case of the flu, let alone Mark Munoz. Mark on the other hand has cinderblocks for fists, and will test Chael's chin early and often. Not to mention, Mark is the superior wrestler.

Michael Bisping vs. Demian Maia - Not because I actually think he'll win, but simply because I'd rather shave my ass hole with a rusty spoon than pick Bispussy.

Johnny Bedford vs. Eddie Wineland - Wineland is too old, too slow, and wasn't really all that good when he wasn't.

Michael Johnson vs. Cody McKenzie - 1st round Guillotine, book that shit.

George Roop vs. Cub Swanson - Aside from a few freak/lucky wins, Roop fucking sucks. Swanson is lightning fast and will knock Roop into next month.

Davis just doesn't have enough experience yet to win this fight IMO. Shad is really better everywhere. Similiar wrestling and stand-up styles but Shad is just more profecient because he has been doing it far longer.. Davis has lots of potential but this fight is too soon for him to win.. Rashad by UD..

Michael Bisping vs. Chael Sonnen
Been waiting for this fight for a long time and Munoz dropping out was actually a better thing for the card. This fight will be exciting either way. Bisping has to keep it up, strike and avoid the TD. Sonnen sets the most relentelss pressure in MMA looking for the TD. The pace should be high and i expect Sonnen too put it on Bisping for the UD win.

Demian Maia vs. Chris Weidman
Weidman could get submitted easily here but likely keeps it up and wins the stand-up battle..

Phil Davis has not fought in almost a year, and his last performance against Little Nog was not impressive. Rashad has been on a tear in his last few fights. Their wrestling will probably cancel each other out, and Rashad has an advantage in the striking game. I think Suga takes this by TKO in round 2 or 3.

Michael Bisping vs Chael Sonnen

Typical striker vs grappler match. Bisping has surprisingly good defense considering that is usually a big weakness for British fighters. However, Sonner is a takedown machine. I see a couple of rounds of ground and pound in Bisping's future and another unanimous decision victory for Chael Sonnen.

Demian Maia vs. Chris Weidman

Weidman has won his last two fights by submission, but I think its safe to assume he won't be submitting Demian Maia. Weidman has the advantage in the standup, but Maia's has been improving since Nate the Great knocked him out. I think Maia takes a decision over Weidman.

Good night of fights on Fox. The first fight was disappointing with that awful 3rd round. I was embarrassed for the UFC with that being on national television. The second fight was pretty exciting. I had Bisping winning 29-28, but I'm not surprised with Sonnen getting the nod due to takedowns which MMA judges are obsessed with right now. The one judge who called it 30-27 should be fired.

Rashad looked good against Davis. His experience showed. He has earned his title shot. That being said I don't think he has much to offer Jon Jones. To be fair, I don't think anyone does in the Light Heavyweight division right now.

I had Bisping winning 29-28, but I'm not surprised with Sonnen getting the nod due to takedowns which MMA judges are obsessed with right now. The one judge who called it 30-27 should be fired.

Rashad looked good against Davis. His experience showed. He has earned his title shot. That being said I don't think he has much to offer Jon Jones. To be fair, I don't think anyone does in the Light Heavyweight division right now.

Yeah that first fight was crap. Seemed like they moved in slow-mo. But UFC can't blow their wad for free all the time. Gotta show casual fans just enough to keep them buyiing pay-per-views. Evans-Davis was enough to ensure that.

I had a feeling Chael was sick, or at least the weight cut this time took a ton out of him because he looked great from what I recalled against Stann. Bisping is a good fighter, but he's never been a guy that can hang with Silva/Vitor/Sonnen in the thick of it. Phil Davis showed a lot of heart, but he lacks Rashad's smarts. Definately looking forward to the fight with Jones - and I hope Rashad can stay OUT OF CHARACTER and just be the great competitor he is.

Weidman/Maia- Weidman needs to work on his striking but to take the fight on 2 weeks notice he did the job.

Sonnen/Bisping- Chael won the fight. Bisping fought very well, better than i thought he would but not enough to win. I am no Bisping fan as everyone around here knows however

Round 1: Chael got 2 TD's and the striking was about even, 10-9 Chael

Round 2: 1 TD and Bisping got the better of the striking, had Chael pushed on the cage. 10-9 Bisping.

Round 3 All Chael with the TD and the top control. I thought he was gonna get that sub VIA arm triangle when he transitioned from the mount but Mike fought tough. Chael was again too damn low in the guard which is what got him caught with Silva in the 5th. On to the rematch. War Sonnen!! :toast

Davis/Shad. Very good fight. Davis needs to hire a new boxing coach right now because his hands fuckin suck. For a guy that athletic he should be a way more dangerous striker. He basically got through a 5 round fight with Rashad on his athletic ability and toughness alone. If Davis had more on the feet Rashad was open to be pressed late in the fight but he had nothing. Shad fought great for 3 rds and then got tired. On to the Jones fight and the best fighter in the world right now is gonna smash him. War Jones.. :toast

I have watched this fight back 5 times and Chael wins rounds 1 and 3 with the 2nd being very close probably going to Bisping. Rogan's commentary still has me baffled. I still don't know how Rogan dismiissed the 2 TD's Chael got and was only raving about Chael being pressed on the cage in round 1. Bisping didn't land much of anything in the round and fight metric showed that. When you get taken down twice, don't hurt your opponent or have sub attempts guess what Joe?

I woke up for this fights.
I took some sleep - 90 minutes and then turned on the exciting fight - Maia vs Weidman.

Ohh gosh. I assume Dana was pissed as hell. Another FOX card and as a start they got a antientertainment show.
Fuck I was pissed it took so long b4 they went into the cage and all those talking and talking. Which I was not hearing because polish commentary was screwing everything. Then those commercial breakes where we saw arena and a silence from polish broadcast. :tu

At least I knew the only fight worth waking up was Sonnen fight. And I was disappointed.
Why Sonnen was not dominating more?
Bisping sucked against Miller and now he looked better the Stann !

And Sonner really going forward, and if rematched with Silva I don't know if he can stand the striking of Anderson this time.


All main fights were not so great.

It looked like every fighter had some problems. Maybe it was because of a short time between weight-ins and event. Shorter then normal.

Anyway - Sonnen was not happy, Dana was not happy and Shad was not happy.
