My question is, why is the First Lady at a NASCAR race to begin with? I'm willing to bet nobody there voted for her husband in the first place, no potential voters there. I'm willing to bet she has no interest in NASCAR whatsoever. Even if her husband was doing well she would have been booed at a NASCAR race. :lmao

The article title says the women got booed but within the story, it was Obama who got booed? The article doesn't even seem to know for sure if Obama even got booed but even if he did, why would they boo Obama for supporting veterans?

Michelle is an Obama....

Maybe I'm too cynical... but I think it might have been done on purpose. Way too obvious she'd get booed and it makes NASCAR fans (doesn't take a genius to figure out who they are) look bad.

Boo this:

Pentagon’s NASCAR Sponsorship Gets a Green Light: Congress Rejects Measure to Cut Funding for Ads on Race Cars (http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2011/02/pentagons-nascar-sponsorship-gets-a-green-light-congress-rejects-measure-to-cut-funding-for-ads-on-r/)

The Army spends more than $7 million a year to sponsor NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Ryan Newman and several million more as part of a partnership with NASCAR. It says the prominent ads on the car and presence at the track help attract recruits.

Taxpayer-funded NASCAR race cars...boo, BOO, BOOO!

7 million dollars would be a drop in the bucket for NASCAR and their sponsors - how about them ponying up the cash as a patriotic gesture?
