Pretty good I think. Watched a good amount of him today and he looks like he has a lot of potential. Only a freshman so there's plenty of time for him to develop.

Hard to tell. He hit a couple big plays down the field today and he has good mobility that can force linebackers and safeties to play up to open those big plays. But his arm is pretty suspect, even as a freshman. He threw a bunch of really bad balls even when there was little pressure on him. Several overthrows that could have resulted in big plays, even TDs. And a couple of throws that were just bad balls, inaccurate and not tight spirals. I assume he needs a lot of work on his throwing mechanics.

But he definitely has some talent. And Urban has proven he can work around limited throwing ability with a QB.

I assume he needs a lot of work on his throwing mechanics.

The last QB Ohio State had Michigan fans thought needed a lot of work on his throwing mechanics and he went 3-0 against Michigan.

Braxton will be just fine. Needs to work on some things for sure, but he is much further along than his predecessor at this time.

I don't watch a lot of Ohio State games. I was just making an opinion from what I saw of Braxton Miller in the couple games I did watch them play. And whether a team wins or loses, it doesn't mean a QB doesn't need work on his mechanics. If you're referring to Terrell Pryor, he went 3-0 against Michigan because his team was way more talented the 3 games he played in. Better defense, better running game, better special teams, better coaching, better everything. Pryor didn't beat Michigan with his arm. In the 3 games he played against Michigan, he completed 56% of his throws, and averaged 135 passing yards, 5 TDs, 3 INT. Not exactly Kellen Moore.

The comment about Braxton Miller's throwing mechanics is just my opinion. Whether he improves that or not, it won't necessarily mean Ohio State can or cannot beat Michigan.

Miller's mechanics are way ahead of Terrelle Pryor's at the same stage. I think with time he'll become a more accurate passer because the tools are there. And skill set-wise he's right up Urban's alley.

Actually, the biggest beneficiary might be Jake Stoneburner. He's got a lot of talent and was criminally underused by the last staff, which had no idea how to utilize a tight end. I think Stoney is going to blow up.
