Galileo has been mentioning himself a bit less than usual of late. It is kind of weird he made no one's list for good or bad yet, as you mentioned.
Parker fits the role that Galileo filled, in both proclaimed libertarianism and more importantly, crackpot theories and paranoid conspiracy rumor mongering.

Parker went on a leave of absence. I notice he has returned. I fear he won't be so easy to get rid of this time.

The political forum is a fickle mistress. What has Galileo done for us lately?

I haven't been paying attention to this thread... have I won yet? :lol
I think I'm a winner of most the negative awards. Haven't actually tallied them up, but it looks that way to me.

Could they be the same person?

This thread was really entertaining up to the point that people started taking it seriously......and shockingly enough, it was mouse and Dan who took it that way......one guy thinks posting on spurstalk.com matters and the other doesn't have a life outside of posting on spurstalk.com.......
Try to guess which one is which.

..and the elder-statesmen of the Spurstalk political forum
Elder statesman #1 - RG - the only guy with more page views and more original topics go to the top than myself...over the years, one thing I've enjoy about RG's post is that he always takes a side, right-or-wrong, and sticks with it, sometimes frustratingly too long, but that probably just his nature. Random guy as earned his status through the test of time as someone that if your gonna take on, you better bring your facts straight, or its not gonna be a long debate....makes some poster crumble to their posting knees and very seldom gets proven wrong...although it does happen and when it does....out comes the group-think and conspiracy card...so predictable but yet so genuine...here's to you RG...you are now an elder-statesman of the Spurstalk political forum.....one who must be reckoned with, one who must be respected, one who can not just be ignored...
Unless, of course, you are Yonivore... :lol
I did change by mind about a few things on occasion. You missed winehole making a good enough argument for getting out of Afghanistan.
You would probably make the list as one of the other elderstatesmen as well.
I think that having an odd mixture of viewpoints in the old hands is probably what makes the forum interesting.

It matters in that people occasionally learn something.
I dunno, we are all going to die at some point. What does anything really matter?
Might was well have fun.
You dipshit.

Yeah, but there is a difference between someone learning something on here and someone really thinking that they are making a difference to the grand scheme of things by posting 9/11 conspiracy theories.
GFY!

Let this be a lesson for the rest of you, ease off on the outdated insults and contribute to the subject matter and you may make next's years top 10 list.

That was what I was thinking... but don't want to flood the forum with 20 threads. I might create a SurveyMonkey.

Either way. It's not like the forum doesn't already get flooded with similar threads on an almost daily basis. Religion and Ron Paul seem to be en vogue this week....
