more of a shooting forward like Nowitzki

he can hit the three!!!

he only needs to be motivated, remember he is now actually Asia's best player

did you watch how he destroyed opposition at the Asian games???

Would bring a huge population of fans to support us. Although not too sure how popular he is in china.

imagine a seven footer shooting forward at the second unit,

the frontline of Splitter, Blair and Yi would be a sight to behold!!!!

He's so popular that someone would probably drive around him if he was struck walking across the road.

They wouldn't stop and help though. He's not that popular.

I'd be all for bringing Yi on board. 7 foot shooting forward. His best year averaged 12 points 7 rebounds 1 block and 36% from 3. Heaps better then what Ginger gives us.

Spurs could go from miniature ball of Blair, Duncan and RJ to a frontline of

Splitter 6'11"
Duncan 6'11"
Yi 7'0"

Not saying that the three would ever step on the court together at the same time, but if they did that'd be pretty hard to line up against for most teams. Oh yeah and we'll get an extra 1 billion Spurs supporters ;-)

only if the spurs can move Rj, blair, & mcdyess or bonner in a packaged trade for a starter quaility big leaving only 3 bigs. he would be a decent big for the 2nd unit.

Funny thing is I think he played in China as well during the lockout, but while JR Smith, KMart and Wilson Chandler are not able to return to the NBA, the Chinese Basketball Association has no problem to let Yi return to the States.
